Friday the 6th of March our Presto Players took part In Cór Fhéile in the TBA. It was a huge success and all our musicians enjoyed the other children’s performances.
Tomorrow our Presto Players will be performing at Cór Fhéile in the TBA . We’re really looking forward to taking part and hearing all the other performers.
We would like to say a huge thank you to @cboiofficial for being so inspiring and we really enjoyed this singing experience and a huge congratulations to the children who performed admirably. This moment was especially amazing as all of the audience took out their flash lights.
So recently we attended an event called ‘Peace Proms’ In The RDS Arena on Sunday the 2nd of February. Where all 50 of our 6th class students performed with 2000 other students from across Ireland. The conductor Greg Beardsell was really positive and motivating for the children.
So today, our Presto Players Orchestra travelled to Co. Louth to rehearse in preparation for The Primary Ensemble Concert in NCH. Which will take place on Wednesday the 11th of March.
Here we are performing 'Kusimama' by Jim Papoulis. This is a song which the students learned through The National Children's Choir. This took place on the 24th of January 2020. It was an honour to be invited by Dr. Regina Murphy, Head of Schoolnof Arts, Education & Movement, DCU.
Hello Cían here, I'm the first graduate of Presto Project and now studying music at third level and I'm very excited to take responsibilities of the social media aspects of Presto Project and upload some of our great performances.
We are very gracious for the kind donation of Samba Drums from a parent of one of our students. Samba workshops will be in place throughout the term for our students
