Give me Joe Girardi
#MNTwins manager search update: Feelers put out, including 1 w/ prior MLB managing experience. TBD if interview occurs, both sides still weighing. Hear Twins doing homework on at least 1 college coach + others w/ no previous MLB managing experience (KC, Cle. staffs included).
@Jared_Carrabis walked so @Hogdale_ could run
Some meditations on the series and this season from my hotel room thanks for everyone who came along the ride for the 2025 Red Sox
😈👀
Just giving the people what they want. Your nightly @WalkerJenkins6 highlight. Extends his hitting streak to 5 straight with a 107 mph single to right. Since starting 1-21 at Triple-A, he is 9 for his last 17. FYI, he'll be at @CHSFieldStPaul on Tuesday for his first home game
Very solid #MNTwins debut for Zebby Matthews, who held the Royals to two runs in five innings and, as advertised, walked zero and struck out five. Matthews' fastball averaged 95 mph and he got 11 called strikes with it. He was at High-A three months ago.
I would miss the birth of my first child to watch Zebby grace the mound at Target Field for the first time tomorrow night
Imagine not being the leader of the Zebby hype train….couldn’t be me
Zebby is the most hyped twins starting pitching prospect since??? Berrios??
Zebby is a freight train from hell going straight up the ass of the competition
ZEBBBBYYYYYYYYYYY
The Minnesota Twins are calling up right-hander Zebby Matthews, one of the fastest-rising prospects in baseball this year, sources tell ESPN. Matthews, an eighth-round pick out of Western Carolina in 2022, has 114 strikeouts and seven walks in 97 IP. Elite command, good stuff.
👀👀👀
Derek Falvey said Zebby Matthews is “certainly a name we’re talking about” for their starting rotation. Matthews allowed one run in five innings at St. Paul yesterday.
Twins twitter needs a bad boy and I have no choice but to take this upon myself
@TwinsCentral1 Festa above Zebby??? I think Zebby has a much higher ceiling. Don’t think Festa is ever more than a middle of the rotation guy. Zebby might just become an ace
Coming in hot
#MNTwins promoted right-hander Zebby Matthews to Triple-A St. Paul after a breakout first half in which he posted a 1.85 ERA and 91/6 K/BB ratio in 78 innings between High-A and Double-A.
