@Christianrebe11 @sarahsalviander has a great website that includes info on how Genesis and an old earth can both be correct. There's a link on her twitter page. Fascinating stuff.

Can suffering bring us closer to God? Battling cancer, a marked up copy of The Theology of Illness is always w/ me. It is transformational, helping me internalize the truth that the health of our soul is far more important than the health of our body. apple.co/2TQJHpU
"....we must shift from perceiving God as a means to an end to recognizing that He is the end." - @HankHanegraaff
If you believe greed is one of the major problems in the world, you agree with the Bible. Whether it's corporate or personal, loving riches more then people can cause great pain. Money isn't evil. What people do to get it, keep it, and how they use it can be. Love people >money
If you believe the right words at the right time can make a difference to a person's psychological and physical well being, you agree with the Bible. The words written in Proverbs over 2500 years ago still ring true, even today.
If you've ever regretted what you've done while intoxicated, you agree with the Bible. The Bible doesn't forbid consuming alcohol, but it does give stern warnings about over consuming for good reason. Over consumption of alcohol has ruined many a family and life.
In 1 Thessalonians Ch 5 Paul gives some final words to those who would receive his letter. If you think this list is beneficial to your life, marriage, or work place, you probably agree with the Bible.
If the hard times you've gone through have ever allowed you to be there, and have compassion for, those in similar circumstances, you agree with the Bible. The trials of life aren't easy, but if we allow it, we can be the anchor in the storm for those who so desperately need it.
@jfw42 Yes sir. There is truth there as well. Beautifully put.
If you believe that simply following religious rules doesn't mean much if a person is devoid of love, you agree with the Bible. Jesus was harsh with those who "followed" God's law without acknowledging it's true intent. Which was to show His love, for us, and through us.
@jfw42 @ferrismattic Thank you so much for your thoughtful response.

If Christ is risen, then nothing else matters. If Christ is not risen, then nothing else matters. -Jaroslav Pelikan
So take comfort. God made you in His image (Genesis 1:26). The Bible says he "knit you together in your mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13-16) He cares deeply for you. Rest in knowing that you were created with a purpose and that He is not unaware of His special creation.
If you believe that each individual is special, YPAWT Bible. In Math. 10:29-30, Jesus was warning his disciples of the coming persecution for their belief in him. To comfort them he reminds them that God cares so much that even knows how many hairs are on their heads.
@Eldermld1 @ClaireLBrook Amen.
1. If you think that having so many different churches /denominations is silly and unnecessary, you probably agree with the Bible. In John 17, Jesus prays for future believers to be as one. While it's true that we will never have a universal church here on earth.....
If you believe that forgiveness is a vital part of a healthy life, you probably agree with the Bible. In Colossians 3:13, the Apostle Paul encourages the believers to "forgive each other" if they had grievances along with a list of vital components for a healthy Christain life.
If you think anxiety over the superficial and worrying over future events out of your control are unhealthy, you probably agree with the Bible. In Mathew Ch 6 Jesus explains to His followers the futility of worrying about such things.
