Don't be afraid that everyone makes mistakes either. My first analysis a few years ago has so many problems.
Advice for aspiring data scientists: learn SQL, communication is a technical skill, start a blog, teach others, don't worry about learning everything, find your community, stay curious, have fun, don't be afraid to use Google, and remember that everyone is winging it.

Come in today, do what we did yesterday and measure it; is not a #measurementplan. Data driven decisions follow from data driven design.
Is your #measurementplan revealing causal relationships? Is there any contiguity between A and B? Make sure the plan covers these areas.
Changing measurement instruments, objectives or techniques will also induce a cultural change. Think about this in your #measurementplan.
