Threw together some quick GI, scene composition and world gen with many tool and engine features finally completed. I'm feeling very optimistic for where this is heading. #voxels
@ProgrammerLin Will the end user be able to modify the voxel size when in game?
@ProgrammerLin Can you share some specs like render times for primary/secondary rays on your GPU and amount of voxels? Do you store them in 3d textures scattered around as objects in the scene, or have a grid representation? So many interesting things in here :D
@ProgrammerLin i want to print this and put it on my wall
@ProgrammerLin This is how No Man's Sky should've looked
@ProgrammerLin Can’t wait to finally try out the finished product! If you ever release it that is. I love what you’re doing. It’s hard to find good physics/destruction games.
@ProgrammerLin Mousing over your twitter bio while looking at this... Everything is programming, but people will tend to forget the kind of visual artistry that can lead to, with this sort of tech foundation.
@ProgrammerLin Is the aim to make it eventually look and behave like it did in the second engine revision? I liked everything about it except the huge voxels.
@ProgrammerLin how much is procedural vs prefab? these trees look amazing. i love the impressionistic / pointillism aesthetic. so astonishing
@ProgrammerLin Can this be used for nearly-infinite worlds, Minecraft-like?
@ProgrammerLin Incredibly breath taking. So wow just wow
@ProgrammerLin This is nothing short of amazing! Ah, but I preferred the chunky voxels. I think chunky would make for a better game. Plus the lower voxel density wouldn't require as high specs as the "photorealistic" version?
@ProgrammerLin YouTube video incoming soon? Love to see the progress!
@ProgrammerLin This man made possible to build a world automatically. Insane
@ProgrammerLin Tropical biomes? Oh goodness! 🌴
@ProgrammerLin Man I love that you took the time and just reworked everthing. I love how the tree on the left looks. So natural. Can't wait to see when everything falls in to place and comes together. Like water etc. Keep it up man^^
@ProgrammerLin This is soo beautiful, we tend to neglect voxel because of the bad use of it and the complexity of the programming but here we are!
@ProgrammerLin The beauty of this... is just STUNNING You really need so much support for this amazing project ever thought of patreon?
@ProgrammerLin The scenery somehow reminds me of Satisfacfory. Very pretty 🙂
@ProgrammerLin Something with the lighting still feels a bit off. Dynamic range maybe? Exposure desaturation?
