AJC Project Interchange @projinterchange

The Colombian people have spoken, demonstrating once again the strength of Colombia's democratic institutions. Congratulations to President-elect @ABDELAESPRIELLA and Vice President-elect @JRestrp, an alumnus of AJC's @ProjInterchange, on their victory. AJC looks forward to working with the incoming administration to restore strong Colombia-U.S.-Israel trilateral ties, and to promote security, prosperity, and opportunity for all across our hemisphere.

From around the globe, Project Interchange alumni showed up strong at #AJCGloFo - on panels, reconnecting, and driving impact. 🌍 We are grateful for their leadership! ajc.org/globalforumnew…

Antisemitism doesn’t just spread through extremist ideology or political rhetoric; it is often reinforced through culture. In this powerful discussion at #AJCGloFo, Jewish entertainment professionals shared firsthand experiences from across the industry, shedding light on how antisemitic tropes, inaction, and double standards can surface in writers’ rooms, on set, in casting, and behind the scenes. Thank you to panelists @BillyMann, @ProjInterchange alumnus Lori York of @RocNation, Jaime Denbo, and Deborah Marcus of @Paramount for breaking down how we can combat antisemitism in film, television, music, comedy, and social media, and how we can change the narrative before content becomes culture. ajc.org/news/rewriting…

An AJC @ProjInterchange alum, Mayor Gloria was recognized for his longstanding efforts to combat hate, strengthen interfaith understanding, and support communities targeted by discrimination and violence, including San Diego's Jewish community and other marginalized groups.

We are honored to award San Diego Mayor @MayorToddGloria AJC’s Donald M. Ephraim Global Jewish Advocacy Award at #AJCGloFo.

#AJCGloFo #TransatlanticRelations #Democracy #WashingtonDC

Hundreds of San Diegans joined AJC’s third annual Antisemitism Summit for a day of critical dialogue and action. We were proud to welcome San Diego @MayorToddGloria, an AJC @ProjInterchange alum who has been a strong and consistent voice in speaking out against antisemitism. Keynote speaker Ambassador @DeborahLipstadt, former U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, also addressed the summit. The event included dedicated breakout sessions designed to equip our community with the tools to confront rising hate in classrooms, on campus, and in public policy. When communities come together to stand against hate, we build a safer, more inclusive future for everyone.

It was a pleasure to meet with @JapanAmbIndia Ono Keiichi, an AJC @projinterchange alumnus, here in Delhi! Japan and India are vital partners for the U.S., not just in the Indo-Pacific, but around the world. We also welcome the strong relationships that both countries share with Israel, another close U.S. partner.

American Jews are asking whether it’s safe to pray, to gather, to be visible. Today’s @NYPost features an op-ed by @AJCCEO Ted Deutch on why antisemitism is a direct threat to America’s democratic foundations and what AJC’s new State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report reveals. ajc.org/news/ajc-ceo-t…

Key findings from our just released State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report: - Over 9 in 10 of American Jews feel less safe as a Jewish person in the U.S. as a result of 3 major attacks on American Jews in 2025 - More than half change behaviors due to fear of antisemitism - For the first time in our survey’s history, 7 in 10 report experiencing antisemitism online The arson attack against @GovernorShapiro in PA, the murders of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky in D.C., and the murder of Karen Diamond in Colorado were among the most violent examples of attacks on American Jews last year. But these were not isolated incidents. 78% of American Jews report feeling less safe as a Jewish person in the U.S. because of the Hamas terror attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, and the subsequent Israel-Hamas war. The full report has the bigger picture of how antisemitism is directly impacting Jewish Americans and their sense of safety: ajc.org/news/ajc-repor…

AJC Chief Engagement Officer @MelaniePellanie and Assistant Director @ProjInterchange Roshan Promisel Sander attended the recent @USMayors’ Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C. Through a longstanding partnership between USCM and AJC, AJC’s Project Interchange has brought bipartisan delegations of American mayors to Israel every year for nearly a decade. We connected with dozens of Project Interchange alumni, met mayors from across the country, and deepened our relationships with these remarkable leaders.

We welcome today’s decisive political decision by EU Foreign Ministers at the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union (@EUCouncil) to designate the Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terror organization. AJC tirelessly advocated for this designation, a crucial step toward curbing the malign activity of the Iranian regime. Read our full statement: ajc.org/news/ajc-welco…

I am calling on foreign ministers to act now: hold Iran’s leaders accountable, isolate the regime, protect those who flee, defend access to information, and impose real consequences on those who sustain this regime. The Iranian people are showing extraordinary courage as a brutal regime kills, detains, and silences its citizens. Standing with the Iranian people is a moral and global security imperative. The world cannot look away. ajc.org/news/ajc-ceo-t…

2025 was a year that tested us as a Jewish community. But it also showed us what we are capable of when we stand together.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at AJC! We wish you and your family a joyous and meaningful holiday.

This week, AJC TAI led a @projinterchange delegation of 11 European journalists to Israel. During this educational trip, participants explored Israel’s rich history, its diverse society, and the challenges the country continues to face after October 7. Their voices play a vital role in bringing Israel’s story to the world.
