Some quick enemy concept sketches before I do sprites. Their design was highly influenced by Descent, Red Faction & a few other games. I like the idea of realistic androids & floating space drones with all the sensors. Their behavior will be like Doom 1 enemies though. #RetroFPS

okay, last update for about a week. Shotgun is done and in the game and I think it turned out pretty well. Shoots 9 pellets and makes quick work of the drones which before took 9 or 10 hits from the SMG before going down, this takes them down in 2 direct hits up close. #RetroFPS

For a simple gameplay #retroFPS/#BoomerShooter with a space opera/1970s military scifi setting and a moderate amount of story telling, should the story be advanced only in comic style slideshow cutscenes between levels, or only by in-game pop -up voice overs/ text boxes, or both?

Are there any popular 2.5d #RetroFPS #Boomershooters that don't have sprite rotation frames? So far my 2.5d retro fps does not, I'm wondering if people will still play something like that. I have lots of enemies and mediocre pixel art skills & dont want development to take long

Ultima Underworld on a handheld. A little harder to play due to the analog stick mimicking the mouse and average of 20-25 FPS but still very playable. #RetroGaming #DOSgaming #Ultima #ClassicRPG

It's okay for riot police to respond with armored vehicles after dozens of cars, dump trucks, garbage trucks, small businesses are burned & "protesters" walking around the scene with rifles. Scenes from #Kenosha last night. More evidence @radleybalko's 2013 book is irrelevant now
