November 12th-20th is #NationalHungerandHomelessnessAwarenessWeek and is dedicated to bringing attention to the issues of hunger and homelessness. This week helps educate the public and build up the base supporters for local anti-poverty agencies, like Project Place.
Last week our staff filled 200+ backpacks for our clients reentering the community from incarceration! They are filled with basic necessities like socks, personal hygiene products, winter essentials, and provide critical support to individuals after they are released from jail.
