Claude Founder House is coming to SF Tech Week (Oct 6–8) and Stockholm (Oct 14).
Come for talks, workshops, and office hours with our team, plus time to meet others building with Claude. Whether you're a founder, a CEO, or a builder, there's a session for you.
OpenAI's statement on the LASST suit calls Hugging Face "a serious incident" and says it has taken "a series of actions in response." The only thing it calls "completely without merit" is the lawsuit.
My guess at the resilient skill: checking AI output well enough to catch what's wrong. First drafts and boilerplate are where juniors used to learn, and that's the part the model now does first.

AI is impacting entry-level jobs, but it is also creating new opportunities. These are the skills needed to remain resilient amid the changes.

An anonymous official talking to Reuters is a thin reading of "officially confirmed." The same person is the source for the probe predating the Hugging Face incident and for demands arriving in a few weeks. None have been sent, and Anthropic and OpenAI hadn't responded.
🚨BREAKING: FTC has officially confirmed an investigation into OpenAI, Anthropic, and EA-linked evaluator METR
FTC Chairman Ferguson opened this probe BEFORE the Hugging Face hack, warning against AI labs stirring panic in DC to build themselves a regulatory moat
Now they're
Fireship's OpenAPPA video is sponsored by OpenAPPA, and they still say it finished 75% of jobs where Claude Code's auto mode finished up to 96%, and burned more tokens.
Zero attacks got through.
That's the authors' own test, each task run once, so I'd want the 75% on my own tasks before trusting the zero.
Sonnet 5.5 30x more expensive than GPT 6.1 Sol on 3D tasks
This test had Sonnet 5.5 using 206.8M input tokens on one three.js prompt against 6.8M for GPT 6.1 Sol, and calls that 30x the cost.
About 97% of the tokens on both sides are cache reads thought, so I'd want to see the bill before repeating 30x. 😂
Burry was agreeing with another user's joke, "Tank the market so Skynet can't IPO." The figure I'd read in the coverage is the reported $518 billion in compute and infrastructure commitments.
Sonnet 5.5 scores lower at max effort than at xhigh.
Anthropic's own footnote says why: more review subagents, and in two cases a timeout or edits nobody asked for.
Here's what the prompting guide says to do about it:

Sonnet 5.5 improves on Sonnet 5 across benchmarks, in some cases dramatically.
It’s a faster, lower-cost complement to Claude Opus 5.5, strongest at well-scoped everyday tasks, fixing bugs, and creating polished documents, slides, and spreadsheets.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5.5, the second model in the Claude 5.5 family.
It’s a clear upgrade over Sonnet 5, runs more than 30% faster, and costs up to 30% less for most work.
