🚨Carlos Baleba asked why he rejected Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid for Manchester United: 🗣️ Reporter: “Carlos, you had proposals from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Real Madrid. Why did you wait for Manchester United?” 🗣️ Baleba: “Because I knew where I wanted to play. When Manchester United came for me, it was not a decision I needed to think about for a long time. I had other big proposals, very good clubs, but I kept saying no because I was waiting for United. “I wanted to play at Old Trafford. I wanted to experience what it means to wear this shirt and be part of this club. For me, it wasn’t just about joining a big team. It was about joining the club I felt was right for my career. “I’ve also spoken a lot with Amad. He told me so many things about Manchester United, the supporters, the dressing room and what it feels like to play for this club. That made me even more certain. I wanted to come here and play with him, with Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Bryan Mbeumo. Those are players I’m excited to share the pitch with. 🗣️ Reporter: “So even when other clubs came with big proposals, you were still waiting?” 🗣️ Baleba: “Yes. I had opportunities where I could have said yes immediately, but I didn’t want to make a decision just because another club was interested. I knew what I wanted. “Manchester United had to be the club. I waited because I believed the opportunity would come, and when it finally did, I wasn’t going to let it pass. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid are incredible clubs, but my mind was already made up. I wanted Manchester United.”

🚨 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋:Last summer, Manchester United signed Matheus Cunha from Brazil, Bryan Mbeumo from Cameroon, Senne Lammens from Belgium, among others. This summer, the pattern is looking the same?! Andrey Santos is Brazilian, Youri Tielemans is Belgian and Carlos Baleba is the Cameroonian they are hunting down... Whats manchester united planning

@ouma_neko Very true

Look at Samson Taalam in court, look at his face? Every police officer who believes a badge makes them untouchable should remember this: power expires. The uniform comes off. The office is left behind. One day, all that remains is your conscience, your choices, and the judgment of the law. If you abuse your authority, torture the innocent, fabricate cases, extort struggling families, or treat fellow Kenyans as if their lives have no value, do not assume those cries disappear. They don't. Every tear shed by a victim, every mother who buried a child, every family broken by injustice becomes part of your legacy. The story of Albert Ojwang has reminded the country of one painful truth: a life can be taken, but the truth has a way of finding its voice. Evidence surfaces. Witnesses speak. Silence breaks. Time has a habit of exposing what power tried to bury. To every officer who thinks they are above the law: fear the day the cells you once filled become the cells you occupy. Fear the day the justice you denied others is the justice you desperately seek for yourself. Authority is not a license to oppress; it is a duty to protect. Use it with humility, because history has never been kind to those who mistook temporary power for permanent immunity.

🚨BREAKING: Didier Drogba says if the USA didn't want other Countries citizens in the US they shouldn't have bid for the Fifa world cup 2026 and says denial of Iran supporters and Somali referee Omar Artan is totally unacceptable, Football should be separated from politics "When a country bids to host the biggest football tournament on the planet, it knows exactly what comes with it. Players, referees, officials and supporters from every corner of the world are part of the package." "I look at the situation involving Somali referee Omar Artan and I feel disappointed for him. FIFA selected him because he earned that opportunity on merit, yet he was unable to participate after being denied entry." "Then you hear about Iran's football federation claiming that its supporter ticket allocation was withdrawn just days before the tournament. If true, that leaves ordinary fans paying the price for issues that have nothing to do with football." "The people suffering are not politicians. They're supporters who save money for years hoping to follow their national team at a World Cup." "Football has always been one of the few things capable of bringing different cultures together. The moment politics starts deciding who gets to be part of that experience, everyone loses." "I played in World Cups and international tournaments. The beauty of those events is seeing supporters from dozens of countries sharing the same streets, the same stadiums and the same passion." "No fan should be judged because of their nationality, and no referee should miss the biggest moment of his career because of political circumstances beyond his control." "FIFA, governments and football authorities need to find solutions because the headlines right now are about visas, travel restrictions and disputes instead of the football itself." "The World Cup should belong to the world. That's what makes it special. The game must always come first, and politics should never be allowed to overshadow football's greatest celebration."

@GBUnitedx I actually think Scholes has a point, but only up to a certain point. The mistake clubs make isn't spending big. The mistake is spending big on the wrong player. When you look at players like: 🇪🇨 Caicedo 🇬🇧 Rice 🇦🇷 Enzo 🇬🇧 Bellingham Their fees looked crazy at the time.

I actually think Scholes has a point, but only up to a certain point. Now they look normal because the quality justified the investment. That's why the Fernandes debate is so interesting. The question isn't whether £85m is expensive. Of course it is. The question is whether Manchester United believe he can become a £120m midfielder in three years. Because that's how elite clubs think. João Neves is the perfect example. Many fans wanted the cheaper option. Now Neves is viewed as one of the best young midfielders in world football and would probably cost a fortune. That said, there still has to be a limit. If every talented 21-year-old suddenly costs £85m-£100m, clubs can't buy everyone. Recruitment still matters. Personally, I'd rather United overpay slightly for the right player than spend £40m-£50m every summer on alternatives who never truly solve the problem. One elite midfielder can transform a team for a decade. Three average signings can cost the same amount and leave you needing another rebuild. The difficult part is identifying which young player is genuinely special. If United truly believe Mateus Fernandes is that player, then the fee becomes secondary. Because nobody talks about transfer fees when the player turns into a superstar. 🔴👀 #MUFC

🚨EXCLUSIVE: Thierry Henry says the world cup in the USA is looking like a mess, Iran says FIFA has withdrawn its World Cup ticket allocation, Somali referee Omar Artan was who was appointed by FIFA to ref in the 2026 World Cup denied entry, expensive ticket and says politcs had no business in football "The more I look at this World Cup, the more it feels like football is fighting battles that have nothing to do with football. That's what worries me." "We're talking about the biggest sporting event on the planet, yet the conversation isn't only about players, tactics, or the countries that qualified. It's about travel issues, ticket disputes, and politics." "Look at the situation involving Iran. Reports say the country's ticket allocation for supporters was withdrawn just days before the tournament. Whether you're Iranian or not, fans should be part of the World Cup experience." "Then you have the Omar Artan story. FIFA selected him because they believed he was one of the best referees in the world. He earned that opportunity on merit." "Yet he was denied entry into the United States despite reportedly holding a valid visa. Suddenly the story stopped being about football and became about something else entirely." "I feel for him because becoming the first Somali referee at a World Cup should have been a celebration for African football, not a controversy." "Then there are the supporters. Many people have complained about the cost of attending matches, accommodation, and travel. The World Cup should be accessible to ordinary football fans, not only the wealthiest ones." "Football has always been at its best when it unites people from different cultures, religions, and political backgrounds. That's the beauty of the game." "The danger is when political disputes begin influencing who can attend, who can officiate, and how supporters experience the tournament. That is a road football should avoid." "I still believe the World Cup will produce incredible moments, but FIFA must make sure that football remains the main story. Politics has enough stages already; the football pitch shouldn't be one of them."
