Here's the simple AI I promised yesterday where enemies will follow the player's location If the player is out of range, they will go back to their resting point. Honestly kinda fun to mess with haha

Nothing to show today, but I am working on having enemies run at the player when the player is close enough. I'm sure I'll be done enough with it tomorrow to post updates. Still keeping the streak live though

Had a long day today so I thought it'd be fun to mess with some textures today... Maybe it's because I've been looking at this too long but the water texture just feels off in some way Oh well, at least I'm still keeping the habit alive, today's work was mostly just for that.

Multiple rooms! Enemies respawn when entering a room, but the conversation state is saved (outside of the conditional that relies on the enemies being gone lol)

Felt like programming today instead of working on any pixel art A couple of things added: 1. Enemies disappear when they are defeated 2. Conditional conversations (so in this case, the convo changes based on wether all the enemies have been defeated or not)

Added an "enemy", but it's mostly just a portal between battling and not battling haha Also keeps the conversation state and player damage consistent coming in and out of the battles =. I think this weekend I'm going to try my hand at more pixel art stuff

Added moods to the dialogs! Even with little 10 minute little sketches, it makes the dialogs more expressive :DDD

Apparently, the most draining thing for me is going to the DMV cuz I legit took a two-and-a-half-hour nap after. Threw something together so I could keep the streak alive. NPC dialog can now change when talking to the NPC for a second time

Very minor update today, a little text box thing shows up when you interact with an "NPC" and you freeze in place. Will do more with this later! I am just mentally recovering after finishing Omori today haha

That was so much harder than I thought it would be Character switching in battle! All I need to fix is making the damage taken specific to the character
