So here's the update🧵 I sent a LinkedIn connection request (with a note) to a potential client who viewed my Contra profile, and I got a response almost instantly. This tip will be useful if You have an active LinkedIn account, and get profile views. Or even better if you have an optimized Contra profile, and on Contra Pro. S/O to @Finaltoucch, he recommended this to me some months ago, but I only just tried it out yesterday. Let's get into it 👇 Every profile view you get from non-freelancers are warm leads and you need to treat them as such by following up. They checked your Contra or LinkedIn page for a reason. How do you follow up? ✅️ Send a direct message using this template I got from @Olabode_designs and edited. "Hi (name), I noticed you viewed my profile, and I just wanted to say thank you! I'm Abiodun Oluwadare, a Shopify Website Designer/Developer with over 3 years of professional experience. If there's something specific that caught your attention, |'Il love to discuss it further. I'm always open to connecting and learning about opportunities where I can add value. Looking forward to hearing from you! Best regards, Abiodun Oluwadare." If you can't send direct messages because they do not have open profiles or allow message requests, ✅️ Send a connection request and include a shorter version of the above text as connection note.
