After 2 years of work, in a great collaboration between @DFAUnipd and @ESPM_Berkeley, the paper "The emergence of cooperation from shared goals in the governance of common-pool resources" is finally out @naturesustainab. You can read it here: rdcu.be/cZ7TI 1/5

The successful candidates will work on stochastic modelling of complex ecological communities where a central role will be played by the physics of disordered systems. Deadline: 30/11 Applications: unipd.it/dottorato/band… from 1/11). Further details: [email protected]

2 PhD positions @LIPh_Lab @DFAUnipd! The LIPh addresses a wide range of fundamental problems pertaining to biological complexity, including critical phenomena in living interacting systems, quantitative modelling of biodiversity across scales 1/2

Good news for who is always late (like us...). If you want to register for webinar participation to the BrainCrit 2022 meeting (no virtual poster) you can still do it through this direct Zoom link... us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

3 yrs #postdoc position @DFAUnipd with @manlius84 and in collaboration with me and an experimental group on eco-evolutionary modelling including HGT as response to environmental perturbations. Competitive salary. For info see manliodedomenico.com/collaborate.php @jacrickets @cxdig

Nadav Shnerb @BarIlanU is looking for a post-doc starting asap. The project deals with alternative steady state and catastrophic shifts, exploring the role of stochasticity, spatial structure, and heterogeneity of computational ecological models. Info: nadav.shnerb at gmail com

A nice advantage of working @Sorbonne_Univ_ is being next door to the Institute du Monde Arabe and hearing the lovely music coming from the sound tests of their outdoor concerts.

Following a successful application to a HSPF Grant, we are opening 3 postdoc positions to work on a collaborative project led by Dr. Diana Fusco @Cambridge_Uni , Dr. Carolina Tropini @UBC and Dr. Luis Ruiz Pestana @miamiuniversity. More info: qdiv.unimi.it/news/ @jacrickets

Very glad that our new work @LIPh_Lab led by @PhyDeepak is now out @PhysRevLett! Here we consider a consumer-resource model where a coarse-graining procedure accounts for a variety of ecological mechanisms and leads to effective spatial effects which favor species coexistence 1/4
