Should wealthier families be provided with tax cuts and child care rebates? #QandA
@QandA Bleed the hardworking and feed the lazy is Australian politician's way of running the government..
@QandA If every Australian paid their taxes there would be sufficient money to go around without borrowing from foreign banks
@QandA Well yes. Because I’m yet to hear any ALP politician talk , write about or acknowledge any person on welfare. At least the LNP recognised them. Even if they thought that they were deserving poor.
@QandA Those people have a choice not to accept it. Bet that doesn’t happen.
@QandA How soon before 'early childhood education' becomes mandatory? Sounds like they want to start the indoctrination process as close to birth as possible.
@QandA Should stay at home mum’s be given subsidies childcare? People need childcare for different reasons, it is not the government decision to decide who needs this service. Who benefits are the children! The government is investing in the future of Australia.
@QandA Same principle should apply to housing. Housing is an essential good. The increase of housing may be good for the real estate industry, but detrimental for families, other economy sectors and the Country as a whole. Other developed countries have already applied counter measures.
@QandA I get what Jim Chalmers’ saying though. If you’re on $300k a year, should you be forced to send your child to a private school and not a state school? If you get sick, should the public hospital be off limits? The child care subsidy is not a social welfare measure.
