内臓と感情を結びつけるのは改めて言われてみると面白いと思った。アウトプットされるものが身体的なフィルターを介していなければならないという感覚は何故生じてくるものなのだろうか。斎藤環がAIには物理空間がないから大したものではないと言及していたことに近いかも知れない。
是枝裕和の『空気人形』では人形を人間が演じていたこともあるかも知れないが、劇中の吉野弘の詩にあるように他者との交流が示されるのに対して、『弱法師』では開かれた関係性や価値観の変化もないままに破滅的な終わりを迎えてしまうのは、まあそりゃそうだよねと思えてしまう。
人形=人間にあるはずのものが不足した存在であり、人間にはなれないという彼らのアイデンティティの揺らぎに目が行くのは、不足した私たち=人間存在ということに気づくからだと思うが、単純に露悪的な登場人物たちを前にしてその思考回路へ至ることは難しくなってしまうということか。
Q/市原佐都子の『弱法師』を鑑賞。凄かったという感覚はありつつ、あまり感じ入るところがなかった。非人間存在へ/からのヒューマニズムの交流が希薄というか、人形たちの悲哀がコミカルかつ激しく描かれるものの、彼らの痛々しさが自分とは隔絶されたままで後半はやや退屈して観ていた。
美術館から離れたアートイベントについて考えるときに、2015年に京都で開催されたパラソフィアのトークイベントをよく参照する。 9分半くらいからの河本信治の言葉は排他的にも聴こえるけれど、本当に他者の情動や思考にインタラクションをもたらす気概を持った人の言葉として捉えれば真摯に響く。

他に田口和奈の作品も印象的で、自ら描いた絵を写した作品らしい。売店にあったので写真集を購入。紙の質感が途中で変わっていたり、表紙も素敵で、こういうものは身近に置いておきたくなる。
固まってしまった気持ちをほぐしにお隣の写真美術館のコレクション展へ。バーバラ・モーガンが撮ったマーク・グラハムの作品に心をうたれる。あと糸井潤の作品がとても良かった。調べたら木こりをしながら作品撮っているらしい。
「わかってない人」が観たときに、なんか良いものらしいけど本当に凄いのかな、という素朴な違和感は消えないんじゃないかな。優れた芸術は良い導入となると思うけど、あれでアートの裾野は広がらないだろう。
新しい枠組みというよりは今に最適化しただけのコンセプトで、そこに当てはまると解釈された作家のアソート。'New soil'のタイトルが、皮肉じゃなくこれから先の貧しさを照らしているように感じた。肥沃な土壌で豊かな実りにするのでなく焼畑的消費をしていくという態度。
恵比寿に行く予定ついでにガーデンプレイスのアートイベントに立ち寄る。日本の中堅作家を集めて、キュレーターも名の通った方の展示。会場全体のキャッチーなムードは置いておいても、展示空間の雑さとチープさに心を寒くして5分で撤退。

地点『みちゆき』。以前よりも作品の余韻が感じられない。5年経って震災の生々しさを感じる事も難しい。沈んでいったものたちが、時間を経て再び浮かび上がってくるための浮力とは？
高谷史郎『CHROMA』。ダンスと空間に映像表現が加わることでハッとさせられる何かがある。色彩が孕む光と闇は生にもそれから離れたものにもなり得る。
野崎歓の『翻訳教室』。色々な示唆を与えてくれる内容に加えて、野崎氏の嫌みのない語り口が本をより魅力的なものにしている。あやかりたい。

『牡蠣工場』を鑑賞。約２時間半の映像だが尻切れとんぼで踏み込みも浅く感じる。漁村での労働力不足を海外の出稼ぎ労働者で補っている現実。しかしそこからグローバリズムまで思いを巡らすにはここで描かれているものだけでは難しい。
