Working out. Any kind. Intense, not intense. Tai Chi? Yoga?
Things I can do instead of smoking: Reading. Thinking about my breathing. Physically relaxing. Thinking about my goals, dreams, ambitions
Oh, for some reason thinking about Christmas - it's going to be the best Christmas ever. I can feel my healthy lungs again already.
Also. I really hate how my stomach, breathing, and chest feel when I'm high. I hold my breath, my stomach feels tight, and sucks.
...ignoring facts, feelings, not evaluating things as they are?
And, more importantly. I need to face things exactly as they are. For hells sake, how can I make any decision properly if I'm ...
So, two important questions. What am I escaping? And why?
I think a big part of what has kept me smoking is it allows me to avoid facing some feelings. Some feeling. I mean, I guess that's obvious
I'm not locked into this just because it's "comfortable". Lots of things that have produced great thing in my life have been uncomfortable
I also need something I can immediately do, to refocus my thoughts, feelings, and actions in a positive direction upon any urge to smoke.
I have to find something, or more likely many things, about weed that directly conflict with other, stronger beliefs about myself.
In each column I will list facts I know about each situation. Not opinions or assumptions. Facts I can arrive at through logicical thought
Going to keep it for now. Wrapped up in a bunch of duct tape, attached to a note with two columns. What do I want more??
Attempts at quitting have been expensive. As has the entire habit, damn!
So, what to do with my stash??? I've tried throwing it out. Dumping it out a car window on the freeway, haha. Keeping it. Burying it.
