The amount of pessimism in the @CounterStrike community is exhausting. Nothing is ever enough.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike my bad for expecting a multi billion dollar company could fix their crown jewel game in less than two years
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike It’s a toxic relationship from both sides, and neither side can leave the relationship. Pretty good cinema if you detach from your love of the game.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike they built a very long term and dedicated following, with this comes the good and the bad. most companies/games would do anything for a community like this, but valve gives off the impression we aren't important to them. it's quite the strange setup.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike "Nothing is ever enough."
Billion dollar company can't get their game in order. -No new substantial content for the last 2 years outside of cosmetics and rotating community made maps. -Vac Live is no where to be seen. -No line of communication from the developers. And the cherry on top, they cease and desist a community made mod to try and bring back the charm of old school Counterstrike. How can ANYONE defend this. Valve bootlicker.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Could you please actually look at the update next time before speaking?
Maybe because the developers instead of worrying about the game they worry about their gamer base and see if they can make more money per month by releasing more boxes and skins instead of fixing the game and releasing an anticheat, an anticheat and 128 tick servers, what people were satisfied with and asking for in CSGO.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Pessimism? Maybe bcuz the amount of effort by Valve tends to zero.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike if you play every day 3-4 hours you can see is HUGE PROBLEMS from years ago so.... it´s fair to get mad when you see shitty weekly mission and workshop maps (community made). So his work is literally 50 minutes of coding to do weekly and menu sound ambience button in +1 month
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike maybe because Counter-Strike dev team doesnt care about their playerbase? We've been asking for proper Anti Cheat last 5 years, all they do release new cases and maps and fix some small bugs that noone cares about
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Exactly what have Valve done for the community?
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike The majority of their “content” updates are community created things. Actual Valve updates the improve gameplay things like weapon balance, economy, map balance, performance optimisation, anti cheat, etc..have been almost non-existent.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike No anticheat No optimization No content Just skins and cages The game its a fucking shame
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike CSGO was enough for me idk about the others
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Maybe because you don't care about the feedback from the community? All the last updates were main skins and community maps. And shutting down an 8 year old project from passionate studio @csco_dev. Your communication is = 0 and also is the your effort
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Why can't I expect multibillionaire valve to put a game into my 50 GB casino?
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Well, aside from cases and skins… what has really been added BY valve, all skins and maps are community designs.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike CS2 still got less features than CSGO had and now they cancel CSCO. What did you mean with "enough"? I agree that people tend to be very pessimistic, but this situation is not an overreaction
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike the game is quite literally worse than it was 5 years ago. The game barely functions. It is the definition of inconsistent which is inexcusable for a competitive shooter.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike I was in defense of cs2 for awhile, but this rollout has been objectively bad.
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Are you dick riding those mf cause of a bunch of non stop skins update? Wheres AC, optimization and actual content that plp have been so long asking about. We dont give a single fvk about skins man 🤢
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike BECAUSE 90% of the shit they add is community made? :DDDDD and there are still a million problems which valve hasnt adressed
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike yeah, bc there is literally nothing being done. wdym? xD
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike If you told us 2 years ago that 2 years after cs2 released we wouldnt even have half the content or qol of csgo then we wouldn't have ever wanted a sequel lol, name another game where this has actually happened its insane for a "sequel" to be this stripped of everything
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike You & Valve
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Oh no ! People are complaining because the game is still in a terrible state after TWO fucking years ! HOW DARE THEY 😱
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Insufferable people always complaining about small shit
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike they killed csgo for a worse game in most aspects
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike "Leave the multi-billion dollar company alone guys"
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike Back in the day people were happy with barley anything. We played dust office assault milita aztec and were happy
@QuotingDev @CounterStrike I just want them to treat the game like a new game. Not as if the game has all its features, contents, anti-cheat, while all the updates are for small cosmetic MTX
