First Grade made butter and participated in fun STEAM activities before Thanksgiving break.

Mrs. Perelman and her 11th grade Honors class hosted a Frankenstein inspired party for some of our 5th grade students. The high school students created activities based on things from the novel. There were 2-3 stem activities, a few art creations and games.

RASD would like to introduce our newest staff member, Bristol the therapy dog! Bristol lives with kindergarten teacher Ms. LaValle. They have spent many hours training together and the kids love her!

On Thursday, 18 students represented Rochester at Beaver County Band and Chorus Festival held at Beaver High School.

Mrs. Spiker’s and Mr. Gorman's classrooms hosted an early Thanksgiving luncheon today. The students and staff all helped with the preparation and serving of the delicious meal. Great job!

Great turnout for the staff vs. students volleyball game! Thank you to the students and staff who played , as well as those who came out to support Sasha Wade and Amya Tigner for their senior project. All proceeds will go to the Humane Society.

IROC interactive mural is finally complete in the middle school! All it needs are the mini cars with each student’s name and the race begins! Thank you to all who donated money and paint towards this project. You are extremely appreciated. 😁

Dashynque Craft participated in Honors Chorus held at Westminster College on November 2. She auditioned for the ensemble back in October. Congratulations on representing Rochester!!!
