@BouafifNour Rashford didn't want to shoot directly with that free kick against Madrid either, it's a confidence thing. He will come good if he gets over the fear of wanting to be safe. You are already in, it's not a trial Anthony...

@AhanotuIkenna How is your accountant filing returns on your behalf for 7yrs and you never asked to see the records for once? Like you and your management team don't even sit for a retreat around these things? Poor on his part. It's not even about trust, just to know the health of your empire

@Sai_Ishaya_ Exactly, Bond is a middle-aged good looking man not some pretty soft boy. I particularly didn't like his Bond character.

@imohumoren You will hear “they are not my target market” 😊

@Wizarab10 Lol, it’s not enough that Nigerians are winning, the other person has to be loosing and going through life for their own life to have meaning.

@Wizarab10 It can be overwhelming but know where you come from. Even if you feel like "nothing" was sacrificed for you, show grace. The food, sch fees, roof and prayers, someone paid a price. You don’t have to bankrupt yourself, but don’t complain like it’s a curse. We are not like them.

A lot to unpack from this video, this is love 🥹

19 years ago, when my 1st company got bought, I had to decide between buying a house in Palo Alto or a McLaren F1 (best car ever imo). Was no contest. I bought F1 & a small condo that was much cheaper than the car. New Tesla Roadster will exceed all gas sports cars in every way…

This is a 920sqm space well utilised, Nigerian developers and people with poor taste will tell you there are not enough land space to build so they build those soulless boxes. @shavnyuyngah should be proud of this.

I am of the belief that Wike got to FCT, saw the order and greenery of the city and decided to destroy it out of sheer jealousy. He is not mowing the overgrown lawns, not pruning the trees (instead he cuts them off completely) but has time to demolish parks and recreational areas

@Ifeanyiwils @novieverest You sabi, it’s not necessarily about that nonsense he said yesterday. He is watering ground. We must learn how to keep grudge in this country.

@novieverest A very valid question though unrelated …. But I cancelled the man since then and I’m not happy when I see gospel artists perform there …. He will be singing in most places that’s why he is watering the ground …. So we don’t call him an enemy …. I am so sure if this

@Ms_Ojo How can a sane person see something as pleasing and beautiful like this and wants it demolished for some ugly estate projects. What does this man have against nature ?

This is facts!

I am about to cast a very important way the female brain operates. “The Female Recency Theory” A woman’s appreciation of a man’s gestures is inversely proportional to how long ago he made them. If you had to choose between starting a business for a woman and giving her gifts

Even presBuhari toured all the states for reelection Someone is now talking about not being able to campaign because of matters of state But when we have emergencies he’s in France I mean our dear president

There was this priest I dread going to for confession at Church of Assumption back then. A lot of our shepherds now are trying too hard to be our therapist, that staff is not only to protect the flock from harm, it beats them into formation as well. Enough said.

It should trouble us greatly that the majority of the women in a pastor’s church can cheerfully chorus their materialism and greed. Firstly, it is a sinful disposition. It is the love of money. But that is not the major problem. The major problem is that they can do so before their minister. The Corinthians had the same problem. Someone was sleeping with his father’s wife, and they were perfectly comfortable with it. Paul rebuked them for this: “Instead, you ought to have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this.” (1 Cor. 5:2) What happened was that Paul rebuked them so sharply that it brought great sorrow and tears to them: “Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it - I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while - yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance.” (2 Cor. 7:8–9) This, therefore, is a primary responsibility of the minister: to watch over the souls of God’s people so that they may be holy and blameless before God. Paul describes his ministry in these terms: “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” (Col. 1:28) He also describes the purpose of his ministry to the Corinthians: “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.” (2 Cor. 11:2) In fact, ministers are meant to rebuke the sinful excesses of God’s people. And when almost the collective mind of a church is shaped by such attitudes, we must ask: What has the minister been teaching and building the people to look like all these years? As Paul noted, the life and character of the members should, to a significant degree, reflect what they have learned from their minister. Hence, he instructed the Philippians: “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me: put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Phil. 4:9) These four points of contact with the minister: what the people have learned, received, heard, and seen - form the basis for understanding the outcome of his ministry among them. So, what have these people learned, received, heard, or seen in the minister that has formed them into what they are today? Or what makes the church attract such members, with so little apparent transformation of their sinful dispositions? Or what makes them remain in such a carnal state, almost collectively, while the minister appears to say, “I leave you to your decision”? Why would you dust your shoes and walk away? They are your flock! It is like a shepherd allowing a herd of sheep to walk off a cliff simply because that is what they want to do. You are the watcher over their souls, as Heb. says: “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account.” (Heb. 13:17) You have been entrusted with responsibility and authority over them. Why, then, leave them to their doom? Why not rebuke them instantly, right there on that stage, as Jesus rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind me, Satan!” (Matt. 16:23) That rebuke may have saved Peter's life. Or like when He told him he had no part in Him if he didn't allow Him wash his feet. The members left that moment laughing and rejoicing, while Satan had just won a battle over their minds. But God is alive. And He is just, true, and faithful. Amen.

Could the Nigerian media be sabotaging Nigerian democracy? 1. I am beginning to fear that one of the greatest threats to Nigerian democracy may not be the military, the politicians, or even the ballot thieves, but the very journalists entrusted with protecting the public from them. 2. A democracy does not die only when soldiers seize power. 3. Sometimes, it dies quietly, while journalists sit politely and watch politicians dismantle its foundations. 4. Consider the curious spectacle called Nyesom Wike's media chat. 5. Here is a politician who assembles some of Nigeria's supposedly finest journalists, seats himself at an elevated table, almost like a monarch receiving his subjects, while the journalists arrange themselves below him, two or three on either side. 6. And then the performance begins. 7. Wike speaks. They listen. 8. Wike boasts. They nod. 9. Wike makes extraordinary political declarations. They look on like children looking at their parents. 10. He talks about what he has done, what he intends to do, and what nobody can stop him from doing. 11. Yet the people whose profession demands interrogation appear strangely reluctant to interrupt, challenge, demand evidence, or insist on accountability. 12. At what point did journalism become an exercise in watching a politician speak? 13. In serious democracies, whether on the BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera or elsewhere, the journalist is not expected to be intimidated by the office of the person being interviewed. 14. The interviewer represents the public's right to know. 15. But in these Nigerian media spectacles, one wonders whether the journalists have forgotten whom they represent. 16. The politician occupies the throne. 17. The journalists occupy the gallery. 18. And the Nigerian people, whose interests ought to dominate the conversation, become spectators of a carefully arranged political performance. 19. There are also troubling questions about money. 20. Claims from @atiku 's camp has asked how Wike sponsors his media chats. Others believes these journalists are receiving enormous payments for participating in political media engagements. 21. Such allegations require evidence, not mere repetition. 22. But surely Nigerians deserve to know who finances these programmes, what the broadcasters receive, whether individual journalists are compensated, and whether public resources are involved. 23. A journalist who exchanges independence for political favour has not merely sold out his profession, he has mortgaged the public's right to truth. 24. And here lies another contradiction. 25. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the country's highest official, has offered relatively few opportunities for sustained, unscripted questioning by the Nigerian press. 26. Yet Nyesom Wike, who is not the president, enjoys repeated national broadcasting opportunities in which his political declarations often appear to dominate the proceedings. 27. Are these genuine interviews, or are we witnessing the gradual conversion of journalism into political advertising, a psychological operation by the Nigerian journalist? 28. Some Nigerians suspect that the purpose of these appearances is to condition the electorate into believing that the APC's victory in 2027 is inevitable, regardless of public dissatisfaction. 29. Whether that suspicion is correct or not, journalists should be interrogating such narratives, not simply providing the microphones through which they are amplified. 30. The journalist's duty is not to make power comfortable. 31. It is to make power accountable. 32. When Wike makes a questionable claim, ask for evidence. 33. When he boasts about influencing elections, ask whether his conduct respects democratic principles. 34.When he threatens journalists or political opponents, ask what gives him such authority. 35. When he refuses to answer, insist on the question 36. That is journalism 37. Not the carefully folded hands, the nervous smiles Page 1 of 2

Ask the Governor of Zamfara (Dauda Lawal), when he was in PDP, I chased him away. He had money, plus other money I hear he is keeping for somebody. Why did he run away from PDP? He couldn't withstand the firework. - Wike Nyesom Wike will call for media chat, he will not chat
