@ZaidJilani that felt so much like my early 2000s childhood in india when prominent mainstream voices would always celebrate and respect all faiths or at least, thats how I perceived it.
@rupasubramanya this is why you should vote to improve free healthcare in canada instead of sucking up to every random conservative white guy. that way you can get the help you need and stop hating your skin a little less.
@SantiCarzolaaa@raskomikhin nope, look within you, you will learn why. you find being anti-indian as an easy way to seek validation from white people. thats why.
@AzadPak1947 why does the idea of pakistan only find its strength in ethnic cleaning of muslims from their real homes? why does a tamil or malayali muslim have to be ripped out of their homes and forcefully moved to some desert in the north for them to be good south asian muslims?
@Bhuut_ that was the objective all along. on their way out, the british wanted to weaken people of the subcontinent and divide the communities within it. one last divide and conquer on the way out.
@sidhant said indian side doesnt even confirm when their foreign minister meets the american secretary of state. why would they say anything about or care about regular people?
@BakedSalmon4@moodslayer95 you didnt post anything celebrating durga puja or navratri but the good mayor did. so by your logic he is a kattar hindu and you are the greatest threat to humanity.
@ZVeryn96103@_Ramban they are treated so because they make up only 15%. united, muslims would make up 40% or more. partition was nothing but divide and conquer tactic on the subcontinent's muslim population.
@_Ramban a united subcontinent would have forced the elite-feudal structures in our society to collapse under its own contradictions. this would have led to an inevitable social revolution. a united subcontinent would be completely unrecognizable from whatever repressive hell it is today.
@IshatZaman it wont happen under the leadership of elites and oppressor-caste brahman-libs. it can only happen under the leadership and organizing of the oprressed-caste and marginalized minority groups. A united subcontinent would look entirely differently from today's repressive subcont.
