The first-ever Career & Technical Education Center in Greeley-Evans School District 6 and a new Jefferson High School were officially opened this week at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday. The new CTE Center is open to all D6 students & includes five career pathways for students.

The Castle is undergoing renovations! The historic Greeley Central library has been renovated to include a new classroom & school store. Excavation for a secure entry on the North side is complete & construction is underway. Crews have removed old flooring & started to paint.

The 6 classroom addition at Meeker Elem is nearly complete! It will be ready for students by Aug. The addition includes 2 preschool classrooms & preschool playground. All the portable modular buildings will be removed from the school site. Thank you, Voters of Greeley and Evans!

Board President Michael Mathews, Vice President Terri Pappas, & Directors Natalie Mash, Kyle Bentley and Dr. Brenda Campos-Spitze were filled with excitement and gratitude as they toured the new learning spaces. Thank you, Greeley & Evans Voters, for your support of D6 students❤

Information Technology, with an emphasis in cybersecurity, cosmetology, welding, construction trades with an emphasis on electrical, and an early childhood education program. Both the high school and CTE Center will open in August 2023.

The future is looking bright! Last Friday, the D6 Board of Education was invited to tour 3 construction projects funded by the 2019 Bond Issue. Madison Elementary's new PK-8 building features spacious classrooms to house 750 students & is slated to open the Fall of 2023.
