OPINION: Since @LenaWaithe’s #QueenAndSlim came out, opinions have run the spectrum...which is fine. But there’s a way to look at the work of Black creatives that lends itself to legitimate critique. thegrio.com/2019/12/04/que…

@imani_gomes @theGrio Thank you. Expressing your sincere opinion that’s not in agreement with the majority regarding today’s black movies is a felony offense. Good job posting this article.

@CNBC She sounded way too needy and insecure. Why would you need to be that afraid to ride a stationary bike alone at home.

@Yi_Dav2016 @hello_puff @karenhunter Wow, doing too much. So many people on social media made a big deal about the movie and from the commercials, I didn’t see the appeal so I asked and nobody answered the question.

@ChrisHogan360 don’t do it. That’s to expensive @karenhunter wager a @DaveRamsey #FinancialPeaceUniversity set to give away if you lose to a listener.

@thesherylralph @karenhunter I met her in 97/98 when she was the guest speaker at a Project Alpha event in Chicago. Hopefully her story and message still resonates with those men today because they were boys back then. apa1906.net/national-progr…

@hello_puff @karenhunter Thank you. I thought that was the foundation of going to the movies. To see something that interested you, not just following the crowd.

@karenhunter Nobody is telling me why I should. Not critiquing but the storyline and previews are not entertaining to me. That’s why I don’t understand the mass appeal or any significance.

@karenhunter I love you Karen but don’t understand the big deal to even consider partronizing the movie. All I see are black people on the screen and slick cinematography. The story line is neither entertaining nor compelling to me.

Very bad service @chipolte #chipolte 2201 s Cicero ave Cicero Illinois. Manager very condescending and noncoperative. He Prepared my food with small portions and got an attitude because I mentioned it. Never got that kind of service before at any other locations I’ve visited.
