RMES // 10.23.26 RMES field teams are documenting conditions under the revised access protocol.

LAB TRANSFER • Material Analysis Escalated A recovered sample has been sealed and transferred for specialized analysis. Field personnel have been instructed not to characterize the material publicly. Monitoring continues around the clock.

FIELD NOTE • Night Equipment Retrieval A result outside the expected range is not a conclusion. It is a reason to slow down, repeat the work, check the instrument, and collect another sample. That process is underway.

FIELD NOTE • Instrument Calibration Show disciplined, repeatable field procedures. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

FIELD NOTE • Field Kit Check Introduce professional equipment and careful preparation. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

FIELD NOTE • End-of-Day Decontamination Introduce decontamination as a normal practice. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

FIELD NOTE • Sample Preservation Explain coolers, labels, and transport protocols. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

FIELD NOTE • Instrument Calibration Show disciplined, repeatable field procedures. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

Baseline groundwater sampling today: calibration, documentation and chain of custody.

FIELD NOTE • Chain of Custody Explain how samples move from field to laboratory. Today's crew log emphasizes calibration, clean technique, complete records, and leaving every site exactly as we found it. Reliable data starts with repeatable work.

Evening field note: RMES crews are preparing for an extended season of environmental sampling across Colorado's historic mining districts. Calibration, documentation, and chain of custody begin before the first sample is collected. Field science is mostly preparation.
