Chennai has 7000 bus stops, 3800 buses. 6 member operation team and 20 day timeline, everything was digitized. Trained atleast 4000 conductors to go digital. Its been a year since the launch of Chennai One, - 1.5 Lac tickets are purchased on a daily basis. - Monthly, 68k out of 90k bus passes are digitally renewed. With the launch of Poonamalle to Vadapalani metro on OCT 11, I hope @MtcChennai @jeyaseelan_vp is ready with feeder buses, esp btwn Porur Toll Plaza to Porur Bypass metro. This will provide easy access to West Chennai from KCBT/Tambaram via 104C/104 instead of long 66P route.

Chennai Suburban needs upgraded coaches and improved services. Have been asking this for some time. Money which SG has paid for picking up the 33% stake in MRTS to SR should be reinvested in Chennai. When Mumbai gets the first preference for coaches, Chennai shoud atleast be second. @PMOIndia Please add this to your GatiShakti list of projects. @TVKVijayHQ Please raise this and ask for upgraded coaches and more services in chennai train network.

Once again bunching seen in 40H. 9 buses in one direction, while just 1 in the other. Long gap in the Pattabiram/Avadi to Beach direction in the evening. The schedule needs to be reworked from scratch, taking AC bus charging time into consideration. @MtcChennai @jeyaseelan_vp

With the addition of AC buses, looks like the schedule for 40H has gone for a toss. Leaves a long gap between 2 buses in the Pattibiram/Avadi to Anna Square direction between 5 and 6pm, peak hours . Pls ensure even distribution @MtcChennai

Instead, we repeat our classic blunder: let low-density sprawl eat the corridor first, then scramble 15 years later to dig up roads for basic utilities. போக்குவரத்து துறை கவனத்திற்கு இன்று மாலை அலுவலகம் முடித்து ஈக்காட்டுத்தாங்கலில் இருந்து ஆலந்தூர் மெட்ரோ சென்ற போது 70c (TN 01 AN 4914 )யில் பயணித்தேன் அப்போது மாற்றுத்திறனாளி ஒருவர் வீல் சாருடன் பேருந்தில் ஏற முற்பட்டார் நடத்துனர் சாய்தல வசதியை ஏற்படுத்திக் கொடுக்க முயன்றார். ஆனால் அந்த சாய் தளம் திறக்க முடியவில்லை பின்னர் பேருந்து உள்ளிருந்து ஸ்கேல் ஒன்றை எடுத்து வந்து திறக்கு முற்பட்டார் அப்போதும் திறக்கவில்லை. அதன் பிறகு அந்த நபரிடம் வேறு பேருந்தில் ஏறி கொள்ளுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டு பஸ்ஸை எடுத்தார். மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் வசதிக்காக சாய்தள வசதிகள் பேருந்தில் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆனால் முறையான பராமரிப்பு இல்லாததால் அதனை பயன்படுத்த முடியவில்லை சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அதிகாரிகள் கவனிக்கவும் @TamilanParthib1

Instead of this, implement dedicated bus lanes beside the metro pillars. Improve the MTC bus services on OMR and connected roads. This will ensure faster movement of traffic.

The U-Turns are back to normal on OMR. 👏 Thanks to @ChennaiTraffic for reverting the mistake. Traffic flow should be much better now. Going forward, please conduct such experimental changes during weekends instead of disrupting lakhs of daily commuters. 🚦

Hi @MtcChennai - several of your buses in OMR honk at cars repeatedly and annoy them to give way even when cars are simply going in their lanes ahead of the buses. They go in service roads like two wheelers Please request your drivers to follow traffic rules
