@GeraldoRivera I like your sensible and balanced discussion of DOGE actions on USAID. I think DOGE efforts to reduce govt spending are necessary to save the US from fiscal crisis from our huge debt. We also must have tax increases and entitlement changes, along with cuts.

@elonmusk Go get the job done Elon. I love everything DOGE can do to cut government spending. We cannot continue to have deficit spending so your team should also forget the vote getting promises to cut taxes while DIGE cuts government. By the way, I love my Y and FSD.

@elonmusk Removing $1T in spending will affect a lot of people and companies and programs. The media will loudly report on the pain caused by DOGE and their reporting will affect voter opinions and future votes. Media reporting of DOGE spending cuts must mention risks of national debt.

@elonmusk My wife and my nervous friends have learned to accept my self driving Tesla. I use it to take me to specific places both nearby and hours away. I now believe it is actually a better driver than myself because it is always paying attention and is making safer decisions.

The government subsidizes over half the healthcare in the U.S. and considers this expenditure an untouchable entitlement. This expense is partially covered by a payroll tax but that tax is not sufficient to cover its cost. It will bankrupt the U S.

@elonmusk Elon, DOGE should look closely at the revenue side as well as the spending side if it wants to address the Debt risk for the US. The plans to extend the 2017 tax cut and remove taxes on tips and overtime are great for the recipients but will make it harder for DOGE to cut $2T.

@pmarca @elonmusk I recently read that excessive government spending and large national debt depresses GDP and its growth. Our politicians use government spending to stay in office and thus buy votes. Hopefully Trump and Musk can find ways to correct the spending problem.
