“100,000 to 300,000 American children are sex slaves in the United States”...

see a short video on child prostitution slavery in the US...

An estimated 1 million children around the world are forced into prostitution every year. That's over 100 every hour....

10 yrs have earned cocoa industry AUS$900 billion. Only 0.0075% of this used to improving working conditions in W Africa....

Estimates for children working in hazardous jobs in cocoa industry exceed 10,000 for #childslaves & 100,000 for non-slave child labour.

Surely 110,000 children in hazardous cocoa labour are worth legislation – it’s not complicated like homelessness. #whereisJulia ?

surely 100,000 children in unnecessary - but preventable - hazardous labour are worth legislation? #slaveLABOR won’t even consider it.

being on the Security Council and not keeping your 0.7% AID promise is what 'all talk and no action means'. #slaveLABOR

being on Security Council and not thinking about legislation to help #cocoaslaves is what 'all talk and no action' means. #slaveLABOR

'all foam no beer' 'all powder no shot' 'all Security Council no legislation'. Talking is not helping #cocoaslaves. Please act #slaveLABOR

Does no one in #slaveLABOR value heritage – & want to do something about ‘inequalities of capitalism’ – especially with #childslaves?

Australia has no National Plan of Action against trafficking. #slaveLABOR asleep again on international social justice...

Gov Schwartzenegger is Repubican, yet passed antislavery legislation - but #slaveLABOR won't consider it?...

I'm amazed that Arnold Schwartzenegger is more socially progressive on child slavery than #slaveLABOR....

Gov Schwartzenegger passed clever anti slavery legislation in 2010. Arnie did it - come on #slaveLABOR. Do something....

Sometimes Govts can make a difference. #childslaves in cocoa is an example. But #slaveLABOR doesn't seem keen to do anything

Cocoa industry agrees certification of cocoa products as ‘child labour free’ is goal. Why not legislate & encourage progress? #slaveLABOR
