🚨 NEW POLLS: Tight Races in Georgia and Iowa, With Georgia Voters Splitting Their Tickets
New InsiderAdvantage surveys of likely voters show competitive statewide contests in Georgia and Iowa, with Democrats holding advantages in both U.S. Senate races while the Republican candidate for governor maintains a narrow lead in Georgia.
GEORGIA — U.S. SENATE
🔵 Jon Ossoff (D) — 50%
🔴 Mike Collins (R) — 42%
⚪ Undecided — 8%
The Georgia survey finds Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff leading Republican challenger Mike Collins by eight percentage points. However, the same voters give Republican Rick Jackson a slim advantage over Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms in the race for governor.
GEORGIA — GOVERNOR
🔴 Rick Jackson (R) — 48%
🔵 Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) — 46%
⚪ Undecided — 6%
In Iowa, Democrat Josh Turek holds a narrow lead over Republican Ashley Hinson in an open and highly competitive U.S. Senate contest.
IOWA — U.S. SENATE
🔵 Josh Turek (D) — 47.4%
🔴 Ashley Hinson (R) — 45.7%
“These surveys demonstrate that voters are evaluating candidates and offices independently rather than simply voting a straight party ticket. Georgia offers the clearest example: Jon Ossoff holds a significant advantage in the Senate race while Rick Jackson narrowly leads for governor. In Iowa, Josh Turek’s small advantage over Ashley Hinson falls within the margin of error, leaving that contest highly competitive. Across all three races, independents, younger voters and the substantial gender gap are shaping fundamentally different electoral coalitions.”
