We wish to clarify that 5% Cashback categories are mapped based on the MCC list available on the website. Please note that not all transactions done on the said merchants are eligible for 5% cashback. Only transactions which fall under the eligible MCC list will earn 5% Cashback.
I sincerely request The @HDFC_Bank for transparency while offering credit cards. I feel CHEATED. I didn't receive 5% cashback after purchasing a mobile using Swiggy HDFC CC from Amazon. Customer care said, MCC isn't eligible for cashback. How does a customer know? Plz assist @RBI
I got a reply which doesn't fix my problem. I want HDFC Bank to specify while offering Swiggy Credit Card that 5% cashback is subjected to customer's luck. There is no way customers can identify if they will get the cashback or not. I'm posting the reply for the public interest.
