It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation. At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance. Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward. Yesterday, a shocking incident occurred at Paschim Banga Gramin Bank's Palita branch in Bardhaman District, WB, where the BM, Officer & Cashier were injured in a violent altercation reportedly involving Mahiruddin Sekh and 30 other individuals. #AttackOnBankers seems unstoppable.

@MamataOfficial We appeal expedite interrogation & release Sri Prasanta Biswas,Asst Manager,BGVB,if found innocent. He is kept in custody for more than 20 days without any specific proof of malafide resulting to the morale of Bank officers going down,doing yeoman service .

@MamataOfficial We appeal expedite interrogation & release Sri Prasanta Biswas,Asst Manager,BGVB,if found innocent. He is kept in custody for more than 20 days without any specific proof of malafide resulting to the morale of Bank officers going down,doing yeoman service .

@sanjaybpi @MamataOfficial Despite providing services going through all the troubles, yet bankers are deprived of their basic rights. Keeping in custody for more than 20 days is punishing him without being proved guilty. Justice delayed is justice denied.
