I once visited my grandmother in hospice sometime in the '70s. I walked all along the hospice building on Saturday night, and the TV sets were up high so you could see them from outside, and every TV set was showing Lawrence Welk. I thought "this does not bode well for future viewership".

One of Tina’s problems is that Portland DSA hates her. Angelita Morillo’s “endorsement”: I’m very critical of Tina Kotek and people need to vote for her anyway. There’s no ranked choice in this race. The governor has the power to call in the national guard, or affect voting. That alone is too important. Christine Drazan is too dangerous. Hold your nose and do it.
