WNF was at: The 61 FC (Luton) 1 Newport Pagnell Town Development 1 in a Spartan South Midlands League Division 2 fixture. Decent competitive game with 1 red and "several" yellow cards. Nice location in the sunshine to cheer me up after last night's tragic news.

Wednesday Afternoon football on Lanzarote at CD Tinajo 0 UD Sotantes 2 in the Preference Insular League. Crowd of c350 for a tetchy affair with 12 yellow cards and 2 reds. The visitors from Gran Canaria played 50 minutes with 9 players but defended their lead well. Admission €5
