Today we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day at the Texas Baptists! It was an extreme pleasure recognizing the “doorkeepers” of all our ministries! These folks serve on the front line of ministry engagement, and they are awesome!
In everything you experience look for the blessings, not the offenses. One view see life through a lens of thankfulness and gratitude. The other sees life through a lens of resentfulness and irritation. Today, choose the better path.
Sometimes God will remove the people you count on, to teach you the only thing you can truly count on is Him.
Sometimes you gotta step out of your comfort zone. Strengthen the knees, Oh Lord! 🤣
You know you're loved by the best staff in the world when you walk into your office, and find this glorious, sweet potato pie, waiting on your desk! All you need is some whipped cream!
Today is First Monday! All BGCT staff joined us for an awesome time of food, fellowship, and faith. The tables were set, the yogurt bar was on point, and He is risen! So, as a convention, we have a lot to celebrate!

Today was a boessing. It was a blessing to fly into Houston and see Pastor Darrin Moore at Truevine BC, Pastor Krejchi Hester at Saint Paul BC, and to hear Pastor Roy Cotton preach at Rose of Sharon BC was a blessing as we honor 40 years of service to 4th Ward & greater Houston!
Sadly, Christ did not convert every person he encountered. As His witnesses neither will we. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t supposed to present the gospel to the unsaved when they’re receptive to receiving it.
Take your cares to the Lord in prayer, and leave them there.

Worship today? Where my roots began. Shiloh BC in the Butler community. In coming home to check on my folks I was able to catch Sunday service with them, although I was a few minutes late!😬 I love this house of worship! Ps this is truck country.
Today, I was thinking about the craziest requests, I've asked from the lord, & it was, “Lord, give me something to pray about!” Spiritually, I could sense the Lord raise an eyebrow, & say in that fatherly voice, “Oh really? You want something to pray about?! Me: 😬😬😬😬😬
Tonight was a great start to the Texas Baptist AAM Leadership Conference! I am thankful to be with our AAM Director, Oza Jones, & our AA Evangelism Director, Dr Tim Fuller. Both of them have done a wonderful job in bridging the gap between all churches inside & outside Texas.
