Sometimes I feel AI is like this.
We’re in that phase of AI where “everybody” is creating apps because others are doing it and it’s relatively easy. It’s like that period of the internet where “everybody” was making a web page but were all similar and after a while the novelty faded away. It’s the way.
We, or maybe just me, are living in a state of fear. Everything is looked at through a lens of threat. Not sure if this is engineered by the media, the current world mind collective, technology changes (AI) or it just happens when you get older. I don't like it.

Working on being better about debugging my code. Any recommendations on C++ code for logging and asserts?
My concern is that if we eliminate the process and only look for the final product then we eliminate the work and what I think makes us feel productive. Productivity leads to happiness and fulfillment. Prompt engineering doesn’t seem interesting to me.
I wonder if the desire to code and create art unassisted will fade in time. I have a passion for both because I grew up in the era of 70s-80s cinema and Apple II/Atari 400 so that is where my mind formed. But if you are child now what will form your mind. Not being negative.

GDC is over and had a wonderful time. I learned a lot and it was good to feel a part of the scene again. I think the industry is healthy and seems to be splintering off in a lot of directions. Many companies and teams are searching for newest trends looking for gold. #GDC2023
