I built Read Option for Sleeper dynasty leagues. Scouting and the trade grader are free. Pro adds roster-specific trade ideas and Deal Desk plans for US$7.99/month. Try it on a deal you're actually considering: readoptionff.com/?trade=1&utm_c…

That's the bit I want help with when I'm trading: who has a reason to talk, what I'm giving up, and when to stop adding pieces. This was a suggested offer, not an accepted trade. The tool doesn't know whether someone will say yes.

Bryce Young + Khalil Shakir for Dalton Kincaid. Near-even on the calculator in the Superflex league I tested. Read Option flagged TE help for one roster and QB help for the other. Then it called the offer a hard sell from the other side. Good price doesn't mean easy deal.

before I send an offer, I check a manager's last 10 trades. do they buy picks? pay up for studs? keep going back to the same players? you're not negotiating with a calculator. you're negotiating with a pattern. that's why I built Read Option. readoptionff.com/?utm_source=x&…

Everyone frames dynasty trades as “is Player X for Player Y fair?” I checked 183,795 completed Sleeper deals. Only 6.74% were one player for one player. The median moved four assets. The package is not the exception. It is the market. readoptionff.com/research/real-…

dynasty calculators say you need 1.32x to buy a stud. 817 actual 2-for-1s cleared at a 0.84x median. that gap is kinda nuts. free grader: readoptionff.com/?trade=1&utm_s…

what’s the worst dynasty trade habit? never countering calling everyone untouchable changing the deal after saying yes sending calculator screenshots like evidence

@a1fantasy23 the Chris Olave ownership experience is opening Sleeper, seeing his name in a notification and losing 3 years off your life

people spend forever trying to figure out what a player is worth half the battle is just figuring out what the other manager actually likes some guys always want picks. some hate rebuilding. some will pay anything to consolidate same player, totally different price

@_TweetsByRob honestly half the time the offer isn’t even bad. you just sent picks to the guy who never rebuilds or a 2-for-1 to the guy who never consolidates. wrong offer for the person.

dynasty trade calculators have convinced everyone you need to overpay for studs. but across 817 actual stud 2-for-1s, the median package cleared at 0.84x the stud’s value. the calculator “ask” was 1.32x. we’re negotiating against a price that barely exists.

@Chris_Cook0569 @jac3600 Pretty fair tbh. If you’re competing, give me JT + the 2nd. If not, I’d rather sit on Smith and Price. Definitely not lopsided either way.

@MichaelDOberst @TheFFBallers Smith side for me too. Saquon’s still useful, but in dynasty I’d rather have Smith + Tuten than Saquon and a couple handcuffs.

@dannyfootball59 @jynxzi @FlockLeague $251 FAAB is doing a lot of work here lol. What’s the total budget? Kinda impossible to call it a fleece without that.

@DynastyDaddyFF CeeDee + the picks for me. JSN is the hotter name right now, but if I can move down to CeeDee and get a 1st on top I’m doing it.

@DynastyZack Bijan side pretty easily for me. The pile looks bigger than it is, especially in a 10-team. Read Option has the Bijan side up 62%, and that’s before counting the 2029 3rd. I’m not selling him here.

Drop a dynasty trade below. Format + what you’re giving + what you’re getting. I’ll tell you which side I want and what I’d counter with. Gonna do these for the next couple hours.

This is SF dynasty only and observational, not causal. Losing teams, 3+ in-season trades, same manager and roster the next year, fixed one-year value outcomes. Built from real Sleeper trades. The tool behind it: readoptionff.com

The takeaway isn’t that player evaluation doesn’t matter. It’s that price protects you when you’re wrong. A good price leaves you value to work with. An overpay can eat most of the upside even when your player call hits. Get your guy. Keep a walk-away number.

Every dynasty manager has said this after an overpay: “I got my guy.” Fair. But does being right about the player actually make the bad price worth it? I checked 2,947 losing SF dynasty team-seasons. The answer was a pretty hard no.
