He offered a Nigerian mama in NYC $100 to cook for him and she even said she’ll do it for free 🥺❤️ This is also the first time I’m hearing “stir-fry vegetables” being called a Nigerian delicacy

Dr. Abel Damina Blasts Pastor Korede Komaiya Over His Comment About Poor Pastors Pastor Korede Komaiya reportedly said during a sermon, “I will never follow a poor pastor. Nothing will make me follow a poor pastor.” Reacting to the statement, Dr. Abel Damina criticised Komaiya, describing him as a promoter of greed, avarice, materialism, and discontentment. Dr. Damina cited 1 Timothy 6:7, which says that we brought nothing into this world and can take nothing out of it. He argued that Komaiya's statement reflected a struggle with poverty, adding that a truly wealthy person would not speak that way. Dr. Damina also criticised Komaiya for collecting money from people he described as poor while boasting about his wealth. He further remarked that if Komaiya met Bill Gates, he would use his suit to clean Gates' shoes. Addressing the biblical arguments, Dr. Damina accused Komaiya of misinterpreting Proverbs 18:1 and referred to him as a lying pastor. He also cited Revelation 3:17–18, arguing that the passage warns against measuring spiritual standing by material wealth. Dr. Damina went further, saying that if Komaiya were his spiritual son, he would take him home and beat him for bringing disgrace to the Christian community. He also questioned the impact of such statements on pastors serving poor communities, arguing that the message could discourage ministers in rural areas who dedicate their lives to preaching to people living in poverty.

Honestly you have done well and those in construction can attest to it from what we can see from your post 👍. However for your integrity and posterity sake unblock the client and sort things with him. But let it be done legally and state your terms that you can't work under hostile conditions amongst others. Best of luck 👍💯

It’s hard to defend this decision. This is not tenable. This is very disappointing from Umahi

In case you missed it, the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project would no longer go through the coast after Lagos and Ogun states. Instead, it would detour inland though Edo State to join the East-West Road. Mr Umahi calls this "a wonderful engineering decision by Mr President" 🤣

Looking at the original route map of the coastal highway and it appears that the FG/Dave Umahi knew there was going to be an inward diversion in Ondo to join the East-West road from the onset but chose to deliberately mislead the public. This is a serious breech of TRUST.

You have asked the question that the Ministry has refused to answer for one year. The original concept presented to FEC was a 10-lane Coastal Highway with a rail line in the middle from Lagos to Calabar. That rail corridor is what justified the 60-meter right of way and the humongous cost. It was sold as integrated transport infrastructure. Now if you divert it to join the old East-West Road, which is already congested, single carriage in many places, and without that rail corridor, then what are we paying 15 billion dollars for? The East-West Road does not have space for high speed rail. As a PhD holder who has supervised infrastructure research, value for money is not about laying asphalt, it is about delivering the design you approved. If you cannot deliver the rail, return to FEC and re-scope the project and cost. Do not give us a rural road at the price of a super highway.

You DON’T have to have a personal business that can sustain you for the rest of your life before you a build a house. Even as a full-time employee, you can build a house. You can spend the rest of your life trying to build a successful business without success. Majority of business ventures fail inside 10 years. Don’t be homeless in your old age from listening to this kind of advice.
