Met a guy at the KL Evolve meetup whose agency runs close to $10M/month in ad spend. Couldn't scale any further. Turned out he was still doing all the media buying himself 💀 Afraid to hand it off because a new hire might not do as well as him. Told him to get the most senior media buyer he could find, even at $10-15k a month. Obviously not cheap, but relative to what they'll make him it's nothing. They might not be as good on day one. But train them up and by month 3 they're running campaigns as good as his, maybe better. And all the time that frees up goes into growing the team instead of babysitting campaigns. He wouldn't eat 3 months of worse results to build a bigger business. Same short-term ROI thinking holds most Ecom bros back. Hiring $4/hr editors off Upwork and wondering why nothing scales. Running Kalo rips until a DMCA nukes the store. Chasing "cheaper" options that cost 10x more in wasted time. Meanwhile, a student of mine paid his creative strategists $70k a month. Most of y'all would call that insane. They took his brand from 0 to $100k/day in under 7 days. Pretty good ROI if you ask me. He used to think it was insane too. Had to break that belief to scale. And it never really stops. You keep breaking beliefs over and over, until you're basically a different person than who started. Every ceiling is just an old belief that hasn't broken yet. Few.

We added $100k/day in profitable spend... doing f*cking NOTHING ⠀ Bounties are a cheat code. ⠀ 1,000+ marketers make ads for your brand. You only pay for the ones that work. ⠀ Creative was always the bottleneck. Now it's someone else's problem 💀 @ecombounty OP method

We run a community of 1000+ AI enabled ecom marketers who 1. Do research 2. Come up with ad ideas 3. Write copy 4. And then edit the ads (Video, image, AI) Those marketers can make ads for your brand for free, you only pay when the ads work - we call this @ecombounty This is

We had an ecom brand stuck at $200k/mth for months. One plain comparison image took it to $100k/day. Just the other brand's product with all the bad stuff about it next to ours with none of it. We banged our heads against the wall before we found it. At the time it felt like the brand was cooked. ⠀ Looking back, the angle was obvious. ⠀ Same realisation I had at the KL meetup with @heystevetan the other week. ⠀ "My brand's doing $60k a month, how do I get to $100k?" ⠀ Charge more. ⠀ "I've got a few brands, what do?" ⠀ Focus on the one making you the most cash. ⠀ Years ago we'd have spent weeks trying to figure out both of those. Now they take one line to answer. ⠀ It's the same with the gym. Doesn't look like anything's happening until you're repping weight that used to crush you. ⠀ You just need enough feedback loops to see it. Whatever you're stuck on right now, you'll look back in a year and laugh at how simple it was. ⠀ You'll constantly see people coping in Discord communities, on X, on whatever social media. I was the same. I spent years sucking at this ecom game before I realised I just didn't have the skills to make it work yet. Not weeks. Not months. Years. Knowing what to do was never the hard part. It was a skill gap, and hours and reps close it. ⠀ Few.

@lukasenECOM @karlocreates He is the guy who made ecomtalent. Remember?

30+ Ecom brands, $1B+/yr combined. One room in St Tropez @victorcardenas, Slash founder ($1.4B) @AdamGillman, $260M Hiya exit Ed, $30M/mth Ed: ''nobody in that room is 20% better at ads than anyone else'' ⠀ So where's the moat? ⠀ Answer's in the vlog: youtu.be/Sr5c1iMnMIc

People underestimate how far conviction can take them. In 2017, a friend of mine went from “average at business” to nine figures in cash with just one decision. He wasn't the kind of person you look at and say "he will be super successful". But he was really, really good at pattern recognition. At that time, Bitcoin crashed and lost about 84% of its value and everybody was panic selling. But not this guy, he started buying more. Everybody called him crazy, but he was so sure of what he was doing that he went all in and even mortgaged his house. Today he's a multi-nine-figure net worth in cash because of that bet. I asked him later did it feel reckless? He said no, he’d already done the research. He knew where it was going because he studied and researched the market for years. This work helped him form his own unique hypothesis. What stayed with me was his conviction. He wasn't even afraid when everyone thought the market was going to hit 0. Not the loud self-belief kind. The kind of conviction you get from doing the work. That's how I feel about AI. I know I'm early. I know that it's useful. AI doomers are scared of risk because they don't know what's ahead. But you have realise that as long as you take a calculated risk, you don't have to be right every time. You've just got to be right once. That's all it takes.

Here's the story of how @Idan_Frenkel8 went from: - Being in debt - Addicted to video games - Not having any experience online To now: - Earning over 5-figures/month - Generated $2M+ for Ecom brands - Going to start his own creative agency His entire story: (unedited, in his own words) Ecomtalent changed my life and it can yours too. Today marks my 365th day in Ecomtalent and $2M made for ecom brands, and it's one of the biggest reasons today I: - Make over 5 figures a month - Have the best team I could ask for - Will achieve great things very soon I joined Ecomtalent being ABSOLUTELY USELESS, I had big dreams yet failed at everything, addicted to video games and owing money to the bank. Here are the 4 stages I went through to unfuck my life: 1) Get Your First Win You want initial momentum, getting the first signal that you even slightly know what you're doing, luckily for you this is Ecomtalent's bread and butter. Go through the course, read posts in ecom twitter, watch youtube videos learn as much as you can to hit that first W. If you don't get a win to start momentum you might NGMI, so do everything you can. Sometimes this stage happens through free work for a brand rather than ad bounties, but the rules don't change, get a W. 2) Get hired Congrats, you got a win, you're not good yet but you're not terrible either, now your priority is to get into a brand as a Creative Strategist (if you can get into an agency, even better) and see how they operates, what they're testing, and most importantly how they seniors think. Money isn't there yet, you can expect to make $2,000 - $3,000 a month here You can find a brand through the job board, upwork, discord DMs, linkedin, instagram... My personal note is to establish relationships with people in discord, getting a job at a brand from someone you know is way easier than from strangers. WARNING: At this point you MUST NOT take your foot off the gas, your foundation is still shaky and taking it easy here will put you in a worse position than never having started, continue working, continue learning and improving. 3) Make Money This is where you start to REALLY get good, you've got Ws under your name, you know how brands work and you probably have 6 figures in spend, the key here is to take responsability over your own path. Most brands look for loyalty, you need to think whether it's right for you. You can get stuck with a bad leader that will never go farther which means you will remain stuck. Or you can get lucky and be with a good one where you can turn into a master in months. (@Baptouvfx is an amazing example of this) 4) Follow your dream Here you should be balling, top 5% strategist atleast and you are valuable enough that you can choose what you want to do and people will still want you, the most common paths taken are - Start a brand - Chase mastery to work with the biggest brands and become top 1% or top 0.1% - Start your own agency - Work with a stable brand and be comfortable Me myself I'm on a mission, to create the most elite creative agency in ecom. If you read this far know that I'm rooting for you regardless of where you're at right now, I believe all of us can be exceptional Thank you @karlocreates for guiding the way for me.

When people “zig” you should “zag” Everyone is focused on cranking more volume with AI But what if you used it to make better ads? The answer isn’t just volume It’s volume of WINNING ads. Proud of my brother @shauneng for jumping on He also leaked a bit of what @karlocreates has been cooking 👀

Quick tip to make more profit this Black Friday: ⠀ Test your offers in a sale beforehand. ⠀ You can't test an offer on a random Tuesday. Nobody's in buying mode. You only learn which offer wins when people are already shopping a sale. ⠀ You got two of those before Black Friday: ⠀ 1) Labor Day, Sept 7. Already gone. 2) Your fall sale, late October. ⠀ Black Friday is Nov 27, so you've got one test left. If you ran a sale on Labor Day, go pull which offer won. Most of y'all will skip that one too and wing it on Black Friday. ⠀ There's a bunch of different offer types to test: ⠀ Buy 2 Get 1 Free X% off $X off ⠀ The basic ones still win. ⠀ Low ticket, use % off. High ticket, use $ off, because the number looks bigger. Skip Buy X Get X% off. It's the weakest one. ⠀ Biggest Black Friday we've personally run was an $800k day. We just ran an "Up to $X OFF." ⠀ Then sequence it across the quarter: ⠀ Test in October and start small. 20% off is plenty. Save your best offer for Black Friday weekend, and put something on top of it. A gift, a gift card. Then pull it back down after. Whoever waited should feel it. ⠀ And run the math before you pick any of them. ⠀ Say you're at 70% margins, 2x ROAS. You spend $100k and keep $40k. ⠀ Now run 30% off. Margin drops to 55%. You spend $150k, do $300k in revenue, and keep $15k. ⠀ You made $100k more revenue and kept $25k less, womp womp

Spent a day inside a billion-dollar FMCG company decoding how it's run Most people know Mamee as the 'blue monster' snack they grew up with. This year the company is expected to do about USD 400M. Their secret? The IIDEA framework which we'll share in a video soon Pierre Pang, Mamee's CEO, believes in “test boldly, fail cheaply, scale quickly” They do not run a one-chip brand. They run more than one in the same aisle, at different price points, for different customers across 80 countries Every Mamee brand serves a different emotion to the consumer without competing with each other Then we sat down with Pierre on how a family business sets goals, Pierre’s pivot from a nostalgic snack to a 100-year company and their vision of creating the largest Halal food and wellness in the world Full video soon
