Hello @TeamYouTube, I’m respectfully requesting a real person or specialist to manually review my channel, ScalingStories, after being denied monetization for “inauthentic content.” YouTube describes inauthentic content as content that appears mass-produced or repetitive to increase views without adding significant educational or other value. I understand why that policy exists, but I genuinely do not believe it describes my channel. My videos are not automated, mass-produced, or minimally transformed. Every video is voiced by me, manually edited by me in DaVinci Resolve, and uses gameplay that I play and record myself. I also use custom-drawn avatars during my talking segments to represent myself, add personality, and better express the emotions and reactions I am sharing with my viewers. The value of my videos is not just the stories themselves. I add my own commentary, reactions, opinions, explanations, and perspective throughout the video. I try to make each video entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. Viewers frequently respond to my voiceovers and thoughts, which shows they are engaging with me as the creator, not just the source material. My channel may have a consistent format, but a consistent format is not the same as repeated content. The only repeated elements are things like my intro and outro, which YouTube’s own guidelines say are allowed when the bulk of the content is different. After I was removed from the Partner Program on January 27, 2026, I spent three months reviewing the guidelines, deleting more than 1,000 older videos, and rebuilding my channel with YouTube’s policies in mind. I reapplied with newer content on my channel, but was still denied for the same reason. I truly believe the current content on my channel follows YouTube’s guidelines. I am not asking for special treatment. I am only asking for a fair manual review with the full context of how my videos are made and transformed. My channel: youtube.com/channel/UC7MxB…
@TeamYouTube I’m respectfully requesting a manual review of my channel, ScalingStories. After being flagged for “Inauthentic Content” on January 27, 2026, I spent three months reviewing the guidelines, deleted more than 1,000 older videos, rebuilt my channel, and reapplied with only new content. I was still denied for the same reason. Every current video is voiced and manually edited by me, uses gameplay I record myself, and includes my original reactions, opinions, commentary, and custom avatars. My personal contribution is an integral part of every video. Channel: youtube.com/@ScalingStories
@TeamYouTube My channel “ScalingStories” was flagged for “Inauthentic Content,” and my appeal was rejected. Before reapplying for the Partner Program, I extensively reviewed the guidelines and deleted a large amount of older content that may not have aligned with them. I genuinely believe the current content on my channel follows the guidelines and deserves a fair manual review. My videos are recorded with my real voice, reactions, opinions, commentary, manual editing, recorded gameplay, custom avatars, and personal perspective. My thoughts and commentary are an integral part of the channel and a major reason viewers come back. They engage with my voice, my reactions, and my perspective, not just the stories themselves. I am respectfully requesting a human/manual review of my current channel with this context in mind. Channel: youtube.com/@ScalingStories Thank you.
Day 38: Still respectfully requesting help from YouTube to get a real person to manually review my channel after being demonetized for “inauthentic content.” @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators My videos are made with my own voice, commentary, reactions, manual editing, recorded gameplay, custom avatars, and personal perspective. I believe this is important context because YouTube’s guidelines describe inauthentic content as content that is mass-produced, repetitive, automated, or minimally transformed. That is not how my videos are made. I do not simply read stories and repost them. I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to make the content entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. Viewers frequently comment about my voiceovers and my thoughts, which shows that “me” as the creator is a unique and integral part of the videos. They are not only engaging with the stories. They are engaging with my voice, my commentary, and my personal contribution to the content. Please help me get a manual review for my channel. Channel: youtube.com/@ScalingStories

Hello @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators, It has been 33 days since I started trying to get in contact with someone, and I am still respectfully asking YouTube for a fair manual review of ScalingStories. I understand YouTube has policies against automated, mass-produced, repetitive, or minimally transformed content, and I respect why those policies exist. I am not asking for special treatment or for any rules to be ignored. I am only asking for the chance to have my channel reviewed by a real person with the full context of how my videos are made. My videos are built around my own voice, commentary, reactions, editing, gameplay, avatars, and community. I do my best to make each video thoughtful, entertaining, and useful for my audience. I do not simply read stories and repost them. I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to add meaningful value for viewers. My viewers often respond directly to my commentary in the comments, which means a lot to me because it shows they are engaging with my personal contribution, not just the original story. I believe my current channel may have been incorrectly categorized, because the work behind my videos does not match the examples YouTube gives for inauthentic content. I would be extremely grateful if a real person could take another look at ScalingStories. Channel: youtube.com/@ScalingStories

Day 31 of asking YouTube for a fair manual review of my channel, ScalingStories. I’m respectfully asking for my channel to be reviewed with the full context of how the content is made: • Every video is voiced by me. • Every video is manually edited by me. • I record my own gameplay/background footage. • I use custom avatars to represent myself while speaking to viewers and add more personality to the videos. • I do not simply read stories and repost them. • I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to make the content entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. • Viewers directly respond to my commentary in the comments, which shows they are engaging with my personal contribution, not just the original story. • My videos are not automated, mass-produced, or made from a repeated template with little variation. • This channel is built around my voice, commentary, editing, reactions, gameplay, avatars, and the community I have built. I am still respectfully asking for help getting my channel, ScalingStories, manually reviewed by a real person after being demonetized for “inauthentic content.” I have been trying for weeks to explain my situation, and I feel completely lost because I still do not believe this label accurately reflects my channel or the work I put into my videos. I understand why YouTube has policies against automated, mass-produced, repetitive, or minimally transformed content, and I respect those rules. I know YouTube has to protect viewers, advertisers, and the platform from content that does not add real value. I am not asking for those policies to be ignored. I am only asking for my channel to be reviewed with the full context of how my content is actually made. My videos are voiced by me, edited by me, and built around my own commentary and reactions. I record my own gameplay/background footage, manually edit each video in DaVinci Resolve, and use custom avatars to represent myself while speaking to my viewers. This is not an automated process. It is a very manual one, and I put a lot of time and care into making the videos feel personal to my channel. I do not simply read stories and repost them. I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to make the content entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. My viewers directly respond to my commentary in the comments, which shows they are engaging with my personal contribution, not just the original story. This channel and community mean a lot to me. Even while demonetized, I have kept creating because I care about the viewers who show up for my videos, and I do not want to let them down. I am not asking for special treatment. Hello @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @nealmohan @UpdatesFromYT, It has been almost a month of trying to get a real person from YouTube to manually review my channel, ScalingStories, after being demonetized for “inauthentic content.” I am still respectfully asking for someone to watch my appeal/behind-the-scenes video and review my channel with the full context of how my content is actually made. I understand why YouTube has policies against low-effort, repetitive, mass-produced, automated, or minimally transformed content. I respect those rules completely. I know YouTube has to protect the platform from content that is made at scale without real originality or value. But I genuinely do not believe that describes my channel. Every video is voiced by me, manually edited by me in DaVinci Resolve, and uses gameplay/background footage that I record myself. I also use custom avatars to represent myself while speaking to viewers, adding more personality, emotion, and identity to the content. I am not just reading stories and uploading them. I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to make the content entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. My viewers directly respond to my commentary in the comments. They agree, disagree, joke with me, and engage with my personal contribution, not just the original story. That community interaction is a huge part of why I keep creating. Even after being demonetized, I have continued making videos because I care about the viewers who show up for my content every day. I do not want to let them down, and I am trying my best to keep going while also trying to understand what YouTube believes is wrong. That is the hardest part. I keep receiving broad policy explanations, but I still do not have a specific explanation of what on my current channel makes it “inauthentic.” Without a real person reviewing the context, I do not know how to understand the decision. I am not asking for special treatment or asking YouTube to ignore its policies. I am only asking for a fair manual review from someone who can look at my actual content, watch my appeal video, and determine whether ScalingStories truly fits the “inauthentic content” policy. Hello @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @nealmohan @UpdatesFromYT, I am trying my hardest to get a real person to review my channel, ScalingStories, and watch my appeal/behind-the-scenes video with the full context of how my content is made. My channel was demonetized for “inauthentic content,” but I genuinely believe that label does not reflect my work. I also made a behind-the-scenes video showing my process because I wanted to demonstrate that this is real, manual work. I am a genuine creator who cares deeply about the community I have built, and even after being demonetized, I have continued making videos because I do not want to let my viewers down. I am not asking for special treatment. I am just asking for a fair manual review from someone who can look at my actual content, watch my appeal video, and determine whether my channel truly fits the “inauthentic content” policy. I even asked YouTube’s own Studio AI what “inauthentic content” means, if I am doing it, and how to avoid it, and the most confusing part is that the guidance it gave me describes the things I am already doing on my channel. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @nealmohan @UpdatesFromYT For “Originality and Transformation,” it said that content that is mass-produced or uses templates with little variation can be flagged, and that storytelling channels should add significant value through unique commentary, distinct narrative structures, or creative visual elements that go beyond simply reading or displaying existing text. That is exactly why I do not understand this decision. My videos are not simple readings of existing text. Throughout the stories, I pause to add my own reactions, opinions, context, and commentary. I talk through the decisions being made, the emotional dynamics involved, and what viewers can take away from the situation. The value is not limited to a short summary at the end because my perspective is woven throughout the entire video. My audience engages with that perspective directly. In the comments, viewers respond to the points I make, challenge my takes, agree with certain opinions, joke about my reactions, and continue the discussion around the commentary I added. That engagement shows they are not only consuming the story itself. They are responding to my voice, my judgment, and my personal contribution to the content. I also use my own voice in every video, record my own gameplay/background footage, manually edit the videos myself, and use several custom avatars to represent myself while I am speaking to my viewers. Those avatars help add personality, emotion, and creative visual expression to the videos. This is a manual, personal, transformative process, not automated or mass-produced content. For “Repetitious Content,” Studio AI said this refers to channels where the content is so similar that it is difficult to distinguish one video from another. It also said having a consistent theme or brand is fine, but the core substance of each video, including the story, analysis, and presentation, must be distinct. Again, that does not describe my channel. Yes, my channel has a consistent theme: storytelling, commentary, and gameplay progression. But the core substance of each video is different. Each video is unique and different from the others because I am reading multiple different stories, and the topics of those stories vary widely from upload to upload. The subject matter changes heavily from video to video. Some videos focus on broken friendships or family conflict, while others deal with serious relationship situations, housing disputes, workplace problems, or completely different personal dilemmas. The format may be recognizable, but the actual stories, themes, discussions, commentary, and takeaways are not interchangeable. For “Spam and Deceptive Practices,” I am not doing what is described. I am not misleading viewers, manipulating engagement, mass-uploading low-effort content, or using deceptive practices. For “AI and Synthetic Content,” I am also not doing what is described. My videos are voiced by me, edited by me, and built around my own commentary, reactions, gameplay, custom avatars, and personal expression. This is not AI-generated, synthetic, or automated content pretending to be something else. So I am asking again for a fair manual review from a real person. YouTube’s own Studio AI gave me guidance for avoiding inauthentic content, and my channel already follows that guidance. If my content is still being labeled “inauthentic,” I desperately need a real human reviewer to explain what specifically violates the policy, because the examples and guidance I have been given do not match my content. Please help me get a real manual review of ScalingStories. Channel: youtube.com/channel/UC7MxB… Public "Appeal" Video/Behind The Scenes (I have one unlisted that YouTube can view that has my face showing w/ webcam): youtube.com/watch?v=6dWkWy… #inauthenticcontent #youtube #youtubedemonetization #creatorsupport #youtubecreators #contentcreator #monetization #youtubepartner #fairreview #fixyoutube
I am asking again for a fair review from a real person or specialist. My channel, “ScalingStories,” was demonetized for “inauthentic content,” and I have now been trying to get YouTube’s attention for 12 days. @TeamYouTube @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @nealmohan @UpdatesFromYT I understand why YouTube has rules against inauthentic content. I understand that some channels may look mass-produced, automated, or generated at scale. But when a creator demonstrates and provides proof that their content is not automated, not AI-generated, not mass-produced, and not simply repeated from video to video, that label should be removed. Your own guidelines say that monetized content should be original and authentic, and that if a creator borrows content from someone else, they need to change it significantly to make it their own. That is exactly what I do. I use my own voice in every video. I manually edit my videos. I record my own gameplay/background footage. I use several custom avatars to represent myself while I am speaking to my viewers and to add more personality and expression to my videos. This is a very manual, personal process, not an automated one. My appeal video demonstrates this and shows the effort, commentary, editing, and personality that goes into my content. My content does share a main theme: storytelling, commentary, and the progression of the game I am playing. But that does not mean my videos are only slightly different from each other or produced using a template and repeated at scale. Every video is vastly different depending on the stories being read and discussed. One day I may be talking about friendship breakups, another day about a domestic violence situation, another day about a housing conflict, family issues, relationship problems, workplace drama, or something completely different. The topics vary day to day, and viewers can clearly tell that each video is significantly different when watching. YouTube’s guidelines also say that content that exclusively features readings of other materials a creator did not originally create, like text from websites or news feeds, is not allowed to monetize. But my videos do not exclusively feature readings. I provide significant personal entertainment and educational commentary throughout the stories I read. I am not just reading something and adding a quick recap at the end. I give my input, thoughts, reactions, and perspective multiple times throughout each video. Viewers directly respond to that commentary in the comments. They react to my opinions, agree with me, disagree with me, joke with me, and engage with the personal perspective I add. That shows my commentary is a meaningful part of the content, not an afterthought. These videos are made for the enjoyment and education of my viewers, not solely pumped out for clicks and views. I am a real creator putting real work, effort, personality, and commentary into my content. Please help me get a fair manual review of ScalingStories from a real person. Thank yall from the bottom of my heart! Having the amount of support has been truly breathtaking and extremely helpful. One bite at a time! 🙏 🙏
Dear @TeamYouTube, please help me look into this. My channel, “ScalingStories,” is fighting an “inauthentic content” flag, but my content is not mass-produced or repetitive. Each video takes me 5–7 hours to make, and every video is different. No two videos are the same. Every video on my channel is voiced by me, and any background footage is recorded by me. I add my own thoughts and original commentary to every video, and I put a huge amount of effort into each one. My viewers notice and appreciate that effort, and they frequently react to and comment on my gameplay and commentary. I’m not simply reading material from other websites and reposting it. I’m transforming it into original content that is unique to me and valuable to my viewers. The only feedback I’ve received is to check my case from months ago, when I was initially flagged for inauthentic content, and I’m at a complete loss about what to do with that. I thoroughly reviewed the guidelines and fully overhauled my channel from January 27 to April 27. Every piece of content currently on my channel should now abide by the guidelines. I have done everything you’ve asked of me, and I’m lost and crushed that the only answer I seem to get is to review the guidelines again and reapply in another 90 days. Please help, I’m asking for a fair review of my channel, because I truly believe I haven’t done anything wrong. Here is a video showing my creative process: youtube.com/watch?v=6dWkWy… @YouTube @YouTubeCreators
Hello @YouTube @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators, I’m sorry to keep tagging you, but I believe my channel was falsely flagged for inauthentic content, and I am requesting assistance from a real human/specialist to manually review it. I already tried appealing with a video explaining and showcasing my work behind the scenes, including webcam footage to show that I am a real and genuine creator. However, that appeal video still has 0 views, yet the appeal was ruled as confirmed inauthentic content. I believe this may have been done automatically by AI, and I urgently need a manual review by a real person. Every video on my channel is voiced by me. All gameplay footage was also recorded by me. I provide significant commentary in my videos that adds entertainment and educational value. I also use numerous custom avatars to represent myself during talking segments and to express different emotions and tones to my viewers. None of my videos are mass-produced or repetitive. My viewers can clearly tell that each video is different. I understand that you receive a large number of appeals and requests every day, and I am simply trying my best to be noticed as well by creating this post. My channel: youtube.com/channel/UC7MxB…
Hello @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @TeamYouTube, I am requesting that a real person or specialist review my channel’s partnership program status after I was recently denied monetization. I was cited for “inauthentic content,” which is described as: “Content that appears mass-produced or repetitive to increase views without adding significant educational or other value.” My content is not mass-produced or repetitive to increase views, and it does add significant commentary, entertainment, and educational value. My videos are voiced by me and manually edited in DaVinci Resolve, which takes me around 5–7 hours a day. The gameplay is also played by me. I also use several custom-drawn avatars to better represent myself during my talking segments throughout my videos, helping me better express the emotions I am feeling and trying to convey to my viewers. The only repetitive elements in my content are my intros and outros, which are allowed under your guidelines. Your guidelines state: “Examples of what is allowed to monetize, including but not limited to: Same intro and outro for your videos, but the bulk of your content is different.” I explained all of this in my appeal video, which was said to be reviewed by a human reviewer. However, the appeal video is unlisted and still shows a view count of 0. Because of this, I do not believe anyone watched my video, yet my appeal was still denied and my content was confirmed as “inauthentic.” I am being denied the chance to reapply to the YouTube Partner Program until July 27, 2026. That is not right or fair to me. I was previously removed from the program on January 27, 2026. During that time, I thoroughly reviewed my own channel and overhauled it, which included changing my format and deleting videos that may not align with the program’s policies. I spent three months, from January 27, 2026, to April 27, 2026, rebuilding my channel. To be denied again for the same policy, “inauthentic content,” after I followed your guidelines and made sure my videos do not violate them, is soul-crushing. I believe my channel was not properly reviewed and may have been evaluated by AI. I am requesting that a real person or specialist speak with me and review my channel, as I am a genuine, passionate content creator who wants to be part of your program.
