@soundmigration Have you any idea how hard it is to get a company to recognise a union? Nearly impossible. How easy it was to get the public sector unions recognised by the state. Ultimately its the workers that will pay for any increase so those opposed have skin in this game.

How do the public pay them? - through tax collection. If the money they earn was already tax money then what value have they given via tax? - zero.
