@DrZweliMkhize I understand your position on alcohol and tobacco during lockdown. But what about hot foods or drink for essential workers? Shifts in hospitals and outside are long hours and quick access to a meal or coffee is crucial to the emergency service workers.
@BusinessTechSA Maybe the minister can provide an alternative to the essential workers that work long hours and must still eat. So you need find a shop that is open after your shift ends & then still prepare a meal. I trust they don't have any meals or catering at any of their meeting anymore.
Staff working in hospitals or other essential offices often finish shifts after most supermarkets are closed. When should they cook? It is well known that food and drink is important to sustain those workers that continue working during times of disaster.
@PresidencyZA @DlaminiZuma is there any update on any take away or coffee shops opening soon. Ever since I got into the Emergency Medical Services I learnt that the essentail services such as SAPS, Fire Services rely on a quick coffee or take away to continue working long hours.
