The offer the House has made to Ukraine in the supplemental is $61 BILLION – more than the annual cost of the U.S. Marine Corps! It also includes $300 million to fund Ukraine’s anti-narcotics efforts, and $250 million for the International Development Association.
@RepMattGaetz Ukraine has their pro soccer league up and running. Things can’t be so bad can it when a country supposedly at war with the Russians has time for soccer?
@RepMattGaetz The majority of funds are used to update our own arsenal by replacing the old weapons for Ukraine with new, more capable equivalents. This improves our defense and creates factory jobs in everything from raw materials to computer chips. We literally make a profit.
Thank you. @SpeakerJohnson, you said no more money for Ukraine and then you and your new pal Chuck Schumer got it done; it appears like he's the only one who you keep your word to. Whatever happened to releasing all of the J6 footage, another lie? You can't be trusted, so give the gavel back.
@RepMattGaetz America should not give any other country another dime. Our citizens are unsafe because of the border and we are giving our children's future away for nothing. Politicians should be ashamed.
@RepMattGaetz We need to be America First! Not Ukraine First and not Israel First.
@RepMattGaetz There are about 70 millions Americans that actually pay income tax. 61 Billion divided by 70 million people is: $871 per tax payer. If you asked each person if they think they should donate $871 to prolong the war in Ukraine, would they say yes or no? taxfoundation.org/blog/us-househ…
@RepMattGaetz We could have had most advanced border wall in history
