KJP claims “gas prices remain well below their peak.” In North Carolina, gas prices are 54% HIGHER than before Joe Biden took office.
@RepRichHudson Tell me more about 2020. Why might gas prices have been low during the worst pandemic in a century?
@RepRichHudson The gas receipts don’t lie.
@RepRichHudson @theMRC Their peak was too high. And before their peak was too high. So only comparing to their peak is ridiculous. How about comparing to what people who must drive can actually afford?
@RepRichHudson @JohnTorbett Supply and demand lesson, perhaps ?? The US is pumping record amounts of oil out of the ground. Most ever - globally. It’s a global market. Refining capacity is a serious issue - how do you plan to resolve ? spglobal.com/commodityinsig…
@RepRichHudson can you address the record profits that the Oil Industry have reported over the last few years. Maybe greed might be the cause! Also please discuss these along with other corporation reporting record earning but yet they pay little to no taxes on these profits. #paytheirfareshare
@RepRichHudson I paid 2.80 to fill my tank up last week in Hope Mills. And last time I checked the US is the largest oil producer in the world. And if I am not mistaken the President doesn’t set oil prices. Perhaps you should investigate the oil companies that set the price.
@RepRichHudson Hey Dick! Your misleading post fails to explain that those gas prices were low because demand fell during the pandemic. Why don’t you resign? #ncpol
@RepRichHudson But now people have jobs and toilet paper.
@RepRichHudson Easy to say that when no one was driving during Covid. You're a capitalist. You know this.
