Using SIMD for budget decisions ignores differences btwn urban & rural deprivation. It doesn't show poor access to services, higher fuel costs, lack of well paid jobs/affordable housing. You need to assess things differently @StirlingCouncil @chriswkane bit.ly/3Mivwr8

Women can't return to work after maternity leave as there's no nursery <30 miles that offers places for 0-2 year olds. Rurality needs to be considered when making budget cuts @StirlingCouncil @chriswkane. You're saving £50k but killing our community.

Recipe for burnout: 1) remove nursery provision, 2) mix in rural isolation and the hope of working from home, 3) add one toddler who is about to learn to crawl, walk and puke on your paperwork. @StirlingCouncil @chriswkane @evelyntweedSNP @AStewartClark @PregnantScrewed
