The tying of Christian belief/dogma to politics (more accurately a specific political party and ideology) in the US is and will be the biggest reason people are leaving and will continue to leave Christian churches. This isn’t persecution, this is self inflicted.

Considering who I follow and what I’ve said on this platform, it’s amazing what ads I primarily see on this platform. It’s pretty clear the new owner of this site doesn’t want people like me here. Too bad, when this site goes the way of the dodo, I won’t be sad.
