People think because one of the characters in my novel invents a G.O.D. Machine that I somehow was guilty of employing a ‘deuce ex machina’ which is a cheap literary device used in Greek tragedies but if one reads further I believe you will agree with me this is not the case

How important is genre to you? I write and publish a lot of books of "prose poems": a name for what defies genre invented to fit the taxonomies of critics who I suspect are the same as scientists who are skeptical of a new species until they can catch it, kill it, then name it.
