not sure Delta’s messaging about valuing their frequent fliers really holds up. Delta million miler standing with me experiencing the same thing. What gives? No reason for treating a good customer this way. does not seem to be any advantage in being a Platinum Level person.

Found that 33D the aisle was unassigned moved over on take off. I am a Platinum level Delta person. I paid for Comfort - treated with disrespect & devalued. With a little care La Juan could have given me a Comfort seat like I had on my 6 pm flight and let me board early.

Big discussion on my small 1 day trip carry on. wanted me to check it. Said I could not give it to them. They said no room on plane. Agreed to let me try. Counted 31 empty slots in the overhead on my way back to 33E. Went by 12 empty comfort seats that remained empty flight.

Put me on standby. Asked about the 36 seats available now and asked why she could not just confirm. Roughly told me to “go look at the screen and I will be assigned when they are ready.” Waited till the very end and they assigned me 33E in the back of the plane – a middle seat.

Very frustrating and demoralizing experience with Delta @ DCA this afternoon, gate 21 agent La Juan, Delta flight 151. Was on 6 pm departure to ATL – paid for Comfort seat. Wanted to go on #151 leaving at 3:05 pm. 36 seats available, 12 of them Comfort.
