He was a divisive, racist, woke arsehole who happily ruled over a Scotland that put males in women's prisons and rape crisis centres, and children under the scalpel. I can happily attest that the news of his resignation was met with cheers by an audience of engaged Australians.

Some blame belongs to a liberal media which gave Yousaf a free pass regarding his religious beliefs & hammered Kate Forbes about hers. Afaik no-one asked Yousaf whether Scotland’s £6billion whisky industry would be safe in the hands of a man who believes alcohol to be haram.
I still can't believe that the SNP ever chose Humza. He had failed miserably at every post he'd ever held; anyone with any sense could see he was a clown. And lo & behold, here we are a year later with him resigning after totally screwing it all up. It was hardly unpredictable

Humza Yousaf says he clearly underestimated the level of hurt and upset he caused Greens by scrapping the Bute House Agreement. He says he is standing down as party leader. Will continue as FM until new leader in place.
