Yes, she would be concerned cos in July 2020 their website was taken down and then Delhi Police sent FFF notice under UAPA. Later, police said it's an error and took the notice back. This was in relation to protests on EIA notification.

Education is what can uplift & to deprive that for the deserving is unpardonable. Forcing the burden of 90% on states that are already starved for funds & even GST dues itself is criminal. Now to prioritize central vista over this is unconscionable. But what can we expect...

This insensitivity towards deserving students, that too in a country that had Rohit Vemula shocking the nation’s conscience is unacceptable. Promoting & supporting education is the ultimate social justice in this neoliberal economy where affirmative action remains very limited.

As institutions of national repute like the IIMs struggle with diversity & don’t even have 5% faculty from SC/ST communities, one would feel that the government should support more students so that many more get to PhDs & post docs And,what do you get... m.thewire.in/article/rights…
