So I think I need to start back on the Wellbutrin I had initially stopped. Part of me feels defeated because I want to heal, but another part of me is somewhat looking forward to restarting it to achieve some "normalcy".

Except none of it has worked. I found some amazing books at the Used book store. But w part of my brain recognizes it is a good book and I get engrossed in the story, it doesn't cheer me up. It is hard to get myself to laugh or smile.

Before I say this, I can't think of any other job I want, or anything else I could be doing with my life. But I am absolutely terrified of my job. I don't know what exactly caused this. But it is awful, and I am now terrified of going to work.

When a patient asks me my name again, and I say Burton. Then they look at my badge and say “jenna. Oh, thank you Jenna” after they’ve just referred to another (male) resident as “Dr Lastname.”

At first I thought my breakdown tonight was unprovoked. Then I realized the events of today truly have taken a toll on me. I thought I was almost completely healed. But thats not how rape and abuse and assault work.
