Now, it appears that the White House ordered a temporary disruption of Starshield, a military version of Elon Musk's Starlink that the Ukrainian armed forces rely upon. "The slowdown of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable lack of advance warning of Russian missile launches have already caused Ukrainian civilians to die unnecessarily," wrote Branson. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear it’s that European leaders must overcome the initial shock about Trump’s recent actions and step up to the plate. It’s as much about Europe’s freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "All options should be on the table now, from the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine to the delivery of advanced weapons systems such as Germany’s Taurus." "Why oh why is this happening? BREAKING: SERIOUSLY, WTF!? Trump has a deeply bizarre moment and uses strange hand gestures, freezes up, and gets incredibly awkward after a reporter confronts him about Iran. The dementia is whooping his ass these days... After a reporter asked Trump about his disastrous Iran War, Trump glared daggers at him, got visibly annoyed, and then held up both of his hands in what can only be described as a Michael Jackson's Thriller-esque gesture. He then waved his hands up and down as the reporter tried to push for an answer. Trump then moved his hands to his ears, moved them forward again, and flapped them up and down in a fashion usually seen only in psych ward patients. "Bad!" Trump then managed to blurt out, turning away from the reporter with a frown. Trump then turned to look at the man again. "Are you hopeful for—" the reporter attempted. "Always Iran!" whined the President, giving a strange rictus grimace to the other reporters. "What will be your next step regarding Iran?" the reporter asked. Trump then gave an awkward smile to the others which, again, had the flavor of a dementia patient trying to hide their confusion behind a grin. If you've known someone suffering from serious cognitive decline, you recognize this frankly sad ploy. Patients, embarrassed by their own befuddlement, often try to mask that befuddlement, even as they're screaming behind their own eyes. Trump then opened his mouth to say something, came up short, and closed his mouth, again with that awkward forced smile. "Are you hopeful for peace?" asked the reporter. "Iran... Is a... Failed country..." the President finally managed. "They have no economy. They have 300% inflation. They have no money. They're not paying their troops. They're not paying their... They're not paying anybody. Uh... We'll make a decision on Iran very soon." So after all that windup, all that gathering of his scattered thoughts, Trump managed to vomit out a totally inane, meaningless answer. He's always about to make a decision on Iran "very soon" and inevitably no decision gets made. He's floundering, totally clueless how to fix this crisis that he created. Allow us to offer a plausible explanation for this disturbing little episode. People with dementia often suffer exacerbated symptoms when placed under extreme stress. So when a reporter asks Trump about his pointless, failed Iran War, he panics and his mind goes blank. Deep down he knows that this conflict has cemented his legacy as the worst President in American history. Not only has he been exposed as a warmonger, but he couldn't even win the war. So, this is like so many other things that Trump has touched. It’s a bankruptcy because he adds his name to it.” We all know that she's right. Nobody, except for perhaps the most diehard, braindead Trump supporters, think that the Kennedy Center is being shut down due to an abundance of caution and in line with good governance. Trump is throwing a hissy fit because the courts blocked his insane, vain, pathetic attempt to slap his reviled name on the building. This is a clear cut case of Trump saying "if I can't have it, nobody can." He'd rather deny the American people access to the center entirely than allow his ego to accept defeat. Kennedy's cousin Maria Shriver voiced a similar sentiment, stating that “a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building” was a “sad state of affairs.” Ultimately, the American people will win and the Kennedy Center will survive. BREAKING: HELL YES! A Trump-appointed federal judge delivers him a CRUSHING defeat by ordering the U.S. Postal Service to ignore his illegal executive order restricting mail-in voting. This is a massive win for democracy itself... “Plaintiffs have demonstrated that, absent an injunction, there is an increased risk that a significant number of otherwise appropriate absentee or mail-in ballots will ultimately not be counted in the upcoming elections,” wrote U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols, issuing a preliminary injunction. “The public has a strong interest in ensuring that doesn’t happen.” This ruling adds to a separate ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani against Trump's blatant attempt to undermine the midterm elections. Fully aware that he is historically unpopular and his party is heading into a midterms disaster, Trump is trying to erect as many barriers to the ballot box as possible. He knows that if fewer people are able to vote, Republicans stand a better chance of avoiding a total electoral collapse. If the executive order is enforced, millions of Americans could end up disenfranchised. The Supreme Court is currently considering the administration's appeal of Talwani's order, and Nichols' decision further weights the case against the White House. It's worth noting that Trump's executive order would not simply rework our elections. Since there isn't sufficient time to properly implement the changes — which would require ALL ballot envelope designs to be pre-approved by the Postal Service, as well as the uploading of data identifying mail voters to an online portal that is currently non-functioning — Trump is clearly just trying to inject chaos into the midterms. He doesn't care if his order can be implemented properly, he wants to be able to point to the failure of implementation as a pretext to claim that the election was illegal or stolen once his party loses. We just found out the full grand jury never even reviewed the Comey indictment it supposedly “handed up.” Halligan was told no on one count — and instead of going back with new evidence, she allegedly rewrote it and slipped the altered version to the foreperson like a clipboard signature at FedEx. No full panel. No fresh vote. No real process. Just a backstage edit to turn a rejected charge into a live weapon against one of Trump’s enemies.
