Okay hear me out. One of the biggest problems with issuing a token is the permanence of it all Once you launch a token you are stuck with it forever. The only way to wind it down is to 1. Hard rug (Lose all reputation) 2. Soft rug (Slow burn your credibility to zero and waste months/years) 3. Get acquired (Rarely does this happen and your token holders get burned) You are now in permanent hell and there's no way out unless you launch with futardio/metadao/ownership coins How does MetaDAO fix this? 1. Acquisition: IP is owned by the holders (market governed) so if you wish to exit there could actually be a sale where everyone gets paid out 2. Hire a new team: If you'd like to no longer continue working on the project, you can ensure a smooth transition to a new better steward to work on the code/protocol/business (and the markets will be trusted to pick the best ones) and transfer the comp or token incentives to the new team 3. Liquidate: Wind down the company & token by simply liquidating the treasury and paying out the holders You get the capital and the opportunity to pursue your vision with the cleanest most responsible structure possible and at the same time you are no longer stuck with having to artificially engineer token price pumps or a permanent token tied to your reputation you can never let go of without hurting your supporters Go the metadao way!

This approach frequently leads to severe token inflation, rapid value depreciation, and gameplay that becomes secondary to reward farming. At RockReign, we chose a different path. We decided to build Battle of Eternity around one core priority: outstanding gameplay. Our goal is to create an immersive, persistent world — inspired by the depth and quality of legendary titles like World of Warcraft — where players are drawn and retained because of the experience itself, not because of token incentives. We are designing sustainable in-game economies where meaningful rewards come primarily from player skill, effort, time invested and mastery — rather than being directly tied to token minting or massive reward pools. By reducing dependence on inflationary token rewards, we aim to: • Protect long-term token value • Attract both Web2 and Web3 gamers • Build a project that can survive multiple market cycles 💬When will Battle of Eternity be completed? To date, RockReign has been fully self-funded through private capital — no VC rounds, no public token sales. Unfortunately, the prolonged crypto bear market caused several of our private investors to step back, which severely impacted our runway and forced us to pause active development. Right now the team is focused on finding secure, credible, and guaranteed financing structures that properly protect our future investors. We are actively exploring ownership coin (such as those enabled by platforms like @MetaDAOProject and etc) that can offer stronger assurances to serious investors.
